June 10, 2016. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is essential in everyday living on this earth. He (the Holy Spirit) is one in all things with your Savior Jesus. With your permission and invitation, the Holy Spirit reveals things and people you need to know. Allow Him to lead and guide you in all things. He can be trusted to bring you into a higher and more spiritual level with God your Father.

June 10, 2016. Pay attention to an upcoming event. You will see what you have not seen before. It won't be evident at once, but then you will see. Do all you can to make this event a success. Start with prayer. Lay it all before Me, then watch. I see ahead from My viewpoint in heaven. I can see the end from the beginning. You want to see good changes. You will see blessings when you operate in faith.

June 10, 2016. Learn to take every situation you deal with in stride. Practice the art of being even-keeled no matter what circumstances may come your way. Satan wants to get you either in deep depression or tied up in knots with some sort of over-reaction to some of the most absurd conditions you have ever encountered. Practice the art of being at peace since I am the author of peace. Walk uprightly as a righteous victor.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

This is Pastor Armen Cuenca with some children who live near the church where he is pastor. Armen is one of the pastors working in partnership with FCM to care for sponsored children. He and his wife Irma are bi-vocational pastors, working in the city government, but always have time to help poor children. Helping children escape poverty is close to the hearts of this pastor's family. Under their care many young people have been able to finish school, even college and to get jobs they never thought they could get.

Pray for the pastors. They face many challenges every day. The pastors and churches in the Philippines working with us are vital to the ministry. Every sponsored child is assigned to a pastor who cares for them and their families. One of our pastors wrote yesterday. She and her husband care for 13 children who live with them (plus more than 40 sponsored children who don't live with them). The children living with them are abandoned, orphaned, abused and homeless. She got so discouraged last week that she said she almost told them to leave because she could not feed them. Can you imagine what it takes to feed 13 teenagers? They cried out to God. A little while later, a man came to the church with a big sack of good quality rice. He is not yet a Christian, but still God used him. The next day more rice came. We are praying now that people will start coming by with fresh fruit and vegetables. God loves the children. Thank you Lord.

God has given us the great joy of helping hundreds of very poor children in the Philippines. When a child is sponsored, they go to school, knowing that education breaks the cycle of poverty. They receive supplemental nutrition. They hear the Gospel and learn of God who loves them. We could not do it on our own. Those of you who are Partners, Sponsors and Friends make dreams come true for these children. God uses you to answer their prayers. THANK YOU!
