June 9, 2016. Do whatever it takes to follow Me. Don't let what you want override what I want. Believe Me. I know what is best. I had a plan for you before you were born. It is a wonderful plan better than anything you can imagine. Watch and see if My will isn't better than your will. When our wills merge, blessings abound. It is precious to Me that you desire to do My will. I love you.

June 9, 2016. You are a living letter. Since My word has been written upon your heart, be an instrument to convey My love, compassion and understanding to the lost world around you. Be about conveying My good news in every form imaginable. Take note of the words you speak and the actions you take as being living instruments of My life in the present. You have been sealed by Me. Therefore declare My truth at all times.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Here is a photo of some FCM sponsored children and youth proudly displaying the new backpacks they have received for school. They are thankful for this blessing provided by FCM Partners, Sponsors and Friends.

Here are some notes received this week from some of these children:

From Hazel Mae. Last month, we went to see my mother's parents and relatives in Leyte. My father Fernan went too for few days, but went back home because of his job as a garbage collector. My mother saves money every year just to visit my grandparents in Leyte. I am very happy that even if we are so poor, my mother knows how to save for vacation. I am thankful that FCM helps us to know Jesus and accept Him in our lives. We have now Bible Studies every week with our pastor.

From Earl. Last Thursday, I joined the Bible Study and Pastor Lloyd assigned me to read the verses. I was very happy and I learned about the Lord too. My older brothers are attending too.

From Felix. I want to let you know how happy I am that you sponsor me in my school. I just want to let you know how we were doing at the garbage dump during school vacation. Together with my family, we attend church and I help also in the house. I go to garbage dump site to pick up some things to sell for recycle. Other times I go to pick up firewood for our cooking fire.

From Rhiza Kate. Vacation from school was quite fun, but last April 29 my grandma died due to stroke so I stayed there at her place for a while and was not able to attend church and Bible Studies. But in May, I was with FCM Group for Youth Camp. Our group won the group games. We also led Praise and Worship one of the nights. I was the Praise Leader. I was also the Solo Contestant from our Church.

God has given us the great joy of helping hundreds of very poor children in the Philippines. When a child is sponsored, they go to school, knowing that education breaks the cycle of poverty. They receive supplemental nutrition. They hear the Gospel and learn of God who loves them. We could not do it on our own. Those of you who are Partners, Sponsors and Friends make dreams come true for these children. God uses you to answer their prayers. THANK YOU!

If you want to sponsor a child or provide extra nutrition, there are still many children who are praying for the things many of us take for granted.
