School begins in the Philippines this week with a lot of happy children, some of whom have never been to school before. See below.

May 30, 2016. Today is a revered day in America when we honor military veterans who gave their lives in battle. It is a time to remember the price that has been paid for our freedom. With dignity we honor those who have served to earn and to protect our freedom. We bring the memory of them up to a high level and single them out for recognition. It is a good thing to esteem those who deserve recognition and to honestly lift them up.

May 30, 2016. Talking about something is good, but sometimes it isn't good. I will show you when to talk and when to keep silent. When there is the proverbial elephant in the room, it is emotionally and physically healthy to discuss this. I will show you how, when and where to talk. When the elephant is not discussed its effects can suddenly appear looming over everything when least expected. Don't fret about how, when and where. I will lead.

May 30, 2016. Contrary to your beliefs, you are not fully at fault for the things which have caused you grief and sorrow. Satan is the deceiver and he is a liar towards you in every instance. He would have you believe that it is because of your mistakes which have caused you to be where you are. Refuse to let his lies affect you and cause you to doubt who you are in Me. Press forward with My credible truth.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

A new school year begins this week in the Philippines. This beautiful little girl, Viola, is so happy about her brand new school uniform. In the back is Pastor Obod looking on like a proud grandpa.

Do you remember how fun it was to begin a new school year with new clothes, new shoes and new school supplies? You Partners, Sponsors and Friends are making it possible for many children to experience that joy. THANK YOU!!!

If you ever wonder if what you do makes a difference, remember the smile you see on the face of this little girl. Remember the little girl who found out her prayer was answered and she would be sponsored and could go school. When told the good news, she laughed and cried and jumped up and down then ran home to tell her mother. Remember the mother who came out of the trash heaps where she was scavenging, tears streaming through the sweat and dirt on her face, to say "thank you for helping my children."

If you want to sponsor a child or provide extra nutrition that is so important to them, there are still many children who need help.
