You can be proud of the children and teens you help. Lives are changing because you give. See below.

May 16, 2016. One thing is clear concerning believers judging other believers. The end result when you insist on judging them is that you will be judged in return. If you believe this imperative not to judge and live by it, you will inherit blessings instead of returned judgments. Your reward will be in kind for the very judgment you make. Instead of judging, why not look for ways you can bless and encourage that believer? Give it a try.

Matthew 7:1 New International Version (NIV). "Do not judge, or you too will be judged."  Ras Robinson
May 16, 2016. It was time to move ahead you thought. Then something happened that caused you to hesitate. Now what to do? Wait. There is no hurry. You don't have to make a quick decision. Waiting on Me is a good thing. Rushing into something before you sense it is right is not good. I will show you when to move and when to wait. Stay in close touch with Me. Fear not. You will make the right decision.

Psalm 27:14 (NIV) "Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD."  Bev Robinson
May 16, 2016. It is essential and vital for you to take care of yourself. Too often you get caught up being so busy helping others that you forget to take care of your own cares and needs. Do whatever it takes to keep yourself up and running and in good health spiritually, emotionally and physically. Though people may depend upon you for many of their own needs, take the necessary measures to guard and protect yourself from unwanted fatigue.

3 John 1:2 (ESV) "Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul."  Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

These sponsored teens had a great time at youth camp. For some of them, it was their first camp experience. In addition to the fun and meeting other Christian youth, their spiritual growth was beyond amazing.

All of these teens are from very poor homes -- no running water, no electricity, too many occupants for the small space. But they are working very hard to rise up out of the poverty. They desire to be educated and successful and are on the way to achieving that goal with the help of their sponsors and their pastors. They are also growing strong as disciples of Jesus and will one day have a strong impact on their nation. What a privilege to be part of what God is doing in their lives and in their nation.

We have many older children and youth like these who need to be sponsored. Some of them finished elementary school, but then had to quit school because the higher grades are so much more expensive. We even have a few teens who were not able to finish elementary school. It is harder to find sponsors who wish to sponsor older children. Most want to sponsor younger ones.

Would you consider sponsoring one or more older children or teens who want desperately to get an education? Your sponsorship will give them a chance to escape poverty. One of our pastor's often tells the youth that education breaks the cycle of poverty. You can be part of this breaking.

If you have thought about sponsoring a child, now is the time. A new school year begins in the Philippines the first week of June. It is now time to buy school supplies, uniforms, shoes and other school needs. Will you ask the Lord about it? See links below for your response.
