April 15, 2016. This day and for the rest of your life here on earth, you begin and end your life in the Lord. He orchestrated your birth and will preside as you pass from this life to Heaven. You may have little idea about your inheritance being in the Lord even though He speaks about it so often. He presides over every moment of your destiny. Be assured of this fact: He has already prepared well for the rest of your days. Rejoice.

April 15, 2016. Important events are ahead. Take the time now to prepare, even if it takes time that you do not have. Make time for this. Drop some things that are not essential. You do not want to neglect your preparations. They are important. Many people will be affected, more than you are aware of. Get in a quiet place. Get in My Word. Give yourself to prayer and seeking Me. Then take the time to listen.

April 15, 2016. Oh that you could only see the joy you bring to Me. If you could get a glimpse of how you delight My soul, maybe then you could see that there would be no sense in striving under the light of day. Let Me open the eyes of your heart to see yourself as I see you. I see you as perfect and complete. Position your hands in a posture to receive My love forever.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

On our recent trip to the Philippines Dorothy enjoyed giving treats to children everywhere we went. The children in this photo live near a garbage dump in one of the cities where FCM ministers. They work hard all day digging through other people's trash, looking for items that can be sold to recyclers so they can buy a little something to eat. They don't think much about the future because there is not much to look forward to. It all changes when they are sponsored and can go to school. Then they can dream about a good future that does not include trash scavenging.

Some of the children at this particular garbage dump are sponsored, but many are not and really need to be. We hope to sponsor at least 10 more children who live here. Could one or more of them be God's choice for you?

Sponsoring children changes their lives in many ways. They get an education which opens the door to a way out of poverty. They get extra nutrition and become healthy. They are discipled and become strong Christians. As a sponsor, you can change lives.
