April 13, 2016. Sometimes the winds of the heavens turn as if on an axis only God could imagine. Springtime and harvest serve like boundaries for times of planting and harvesting. Who can fully understand? But we must. Those who are wise will detect the circular courses and their message. Those with insight and keen observation will find a way to track and forecast. The Holy Spirit is like the wind. No one fully knows or understands but still must respond to the winds.

Ecclesiastes 1:6 (NASB) "Blowing toward the south, then turning toward the north, the wind continues swirling along; And on its circular courses the wind returns." Ras Robinson

April 13, 2016. I know you are concerned about the future. Concern is good. That shows you care, but be careful that your concern doesn't turn into worry. There is cause for concern, but no cause for worry. The right kind of concern turns into action. Keep going the way and at the speed you are going, Blessing will come. I know it sometimes seems like I come through at two seconds until too late. But your faith will be rewarded.

April 13, 2016. Your perseverance has not gone unnoticed. The diligence you have exhibited is very commendable. Now the time has come for you to reap what you have sown. You have spread nothing but good for a while now and it is time for your harvest to come. You have stuck to your plans and now it is about to pay off. Your timing in conjunction with Mine couldn't have come at a better time than now.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

These two young ladies, Zairah Jane and Gemma, both sponsored by FCM, proudly display the certificates they earned by completing a new level in ministry training. Both are in cell groups and are being trained to become leaders of their own cells. Preparing the children for Christian leadership is as important as preparing for jobs and professions. These young ladies and many more like them already invite their friends to come to Jesus. Soon they will have cell groups where new believers will be discipled.

The first time we saw Zairah Jane was at a feeding ministry a few years ago. She was undernourished and caring for her younger siblings, making sure they had food even if she went without. The house where they lived was in such poor condition, it was unsafe. After it was further damaged by a super-typhoon, "FCM disaster relief donations" made repairs that helped make it safe for the family. She has done well in school and is well liked by her friends. Zairah Jane just completed 10th grade and is preparing to become a teacher. It would have been an impossible dream before she was sponsored.

Gemma's family lives near the seashore. They evacuate to the church when storms come. Their house has been damaged or destroyed more than once. This past year her father had a stroke which was a major tragedy in the family. His salary was very small, but it was their only income. He was no longer able to work. The family are new believers and the help they received from Christians made a big impression on them. It was a testimony of the love of Christ that comes through God's family. Gemma had to stay home from school and care for her father, but she will be going back to school in June. She is very happy to be part of FCM because she wants to continue her studies. It would be impossible without this sponsorship.

Sponsoring children changes their lives in many ways. They get an education which opens the door to a way out of poverty. They get extra nutrition and become healthy. They are discipled and become strong Christians. As a sponsor, you can change lives.
