March 16, 2016. Someone is dreading abandonment. That feeling is  is troubling you. I was raised on share-cropper farm land as the youngest of six siblings. Day to day our hope was in the Lord. I was very lonely, but never thought my parents or Jesus would ever abandon me. Jesus told me soon after I believed in Him that He would never leave me. I did and still do believe that with all my heart.

March 16, 2016. Keep doing what you're doing. Now isn't the time for change. There will be change later, but it will be gradual with no quick stop and quick start. That will make it easier to handle. You have all you can do now. Stay with the task at hand and apply yourself to getting it done with excellence. Ask Me before you get involved in more than you are now doing. I have the plan. Follow Me.

Psalm 139:16 (NLT) "You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed."  Bev Robinson
March 16, 2016. You sometimes have difficulty coming up with the right words to say in a given situation. Your mind goes blank and you search in vain to muster up anything of worth. Seasons come and seasons go and now you are going through a short phase where things have gotten bleak. Trust Me with your cares and concerns and relinquish your thoughts to Me. Find in Me rest, strength and stability for your soul.

Matthew 11:29 (NLT) "Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for our souls."  Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Angelica and Azel are sisters who have been sponsored for 3 years. If it were not for the help they receive, they would not be able to go to school and their future would be bleak.

Food in their home is scare and never seems to be enough. Their mother comes every school day to Kids Freedom Center to help cook food for the sponsored children for lunch. The mothers hope there are leftovers so they can take some food home for the family for the evening meal. Otherwise, many of them will go without supper and will go to bed hungry.

Thank you Partners, Sponsors and Friends for making it possible for these sisters and many others like them to dream of a better future.

Last week we received letters from the sisters and share them with you below. We hope you are blessed by them and will pray for them and all the sponsored children and their families.

From Angelica, age 14.  I am already in second year high school, and I'm so happy that  my sister and I were chosen as scholars for almost 3 years. And since then we no longer experienced not getting passing grades for our projects and requirements because we could not pay the fees and buy the required supplies. Now Pastor Rudy give us everything required for our school needs. And because of this, I am also excited to go to church every Sunday because there I met many friends and they really treated us as their true sisters in Christ. I have just finished my SOKB (School of Kingdom Builders) Level 1. I will be enrolled in Level 2 soon after the "Encounter God Retreat". I'm so grateful to the Lord for all His goodness unto us and also to my sponsor. Thank you very much sir/ma'am for all your support.

Azel Tan, age 9. I'm thankful that my sister and I were included in the scholarship ministry because even if I'm active in our school activities and go to school everyday, but if I cannot comply and complete all the projects and requirements in every subject, my grade would still be affected. (Note - sometimes the poor children cannot complete a project because they cannot pay for the required supplies and fees. In that case their grades are affected which can be discouraging.) That is why I'm so thankful that I have this scholarship which provides all my needs for projects and fees in school. I also go with my sister to church so that I will learn what she learns for our spiritual life. Thank you sponsor for supporting me in school needs and fees and food.

It is truly amazing what even a small investment of $30 a month per child will make. There are many children who are hoping and praying for someone to help. As a sponsor, God can use you to change a life. Will you pray about it? See links below for your response.
