Ministry to Children in the Philippines
A few years ago, we were made aware of 2 sisters living in very poor conditions with their elderly grandmother at a garbage dumpsite. The 3 of them never had food enough to eat and the girls were not in school. They survived by what they could glean from trash dumped at the garbage site. The pastor asked if we could help.
We found sponsors for the girls, Mae Marie and Princess Nicole, so they could go to school. They also began to come to Kid's Freedom Center to eat every chance they had. Today those little girls have grown up and are healthy and beautiful high school students. They love Jesus and are committed to living life pleasing to Him.
Earlier this week we received letters from them. They are a little long so I will give you one today from Princess Nicole. Tomorrow you will see the letter from her sister Mae Marie. I know you will be blessed as you read about what God has done.
FROM PRINCESS NICOLE: First and foremost, I would like to thank the Lord God who has given me everything I have, who I am, and what I am now. I know it's God who made all these things to happen in my life. I'm so blessed to be raised up by a God-fearing grandmother who taught me about Jesus and also to belong to a family of believers, the church. (I am also blessed by) the scholarship program which of course contributed a lot, not only for my school needs, but also for my spiritual needs. It was then that I came to understand the purpose why I exist here on this earth.
Life on earth without Jesus is meaningless, so everything that I have now, I give to God the glory. In our school, I learned AutoCAD drafting. It's a hard lesson supposedly for college students, but we were taught about it in high school as one of our subject lesson. I tried my best to know about this and I have confidence that "I can do all these things through Christ who strengthen me." (Phil.4:13) By the time I would be in college, it would be easier for me to take up this course. I am also active in every church activity because I am giving God the first priority. My success in life comes through Jesus alone who used the scholarship program as a channel that my dreams in life would be realized. Thank you very much sponsor for your support.

There are many more little children like Mae Marie and Nicole who are hoping someone will help. Just like God used a sponsor to change life for these 2 sisters, He can use you in the same way. Will you pray about it?
It is truly amazing what even a small investment of $30 a month per child will make. Pray about it. See links below for your response.
