March 7, 2016. Things of this world can be so attractive that one is drawn into craving what the world has to offer. Satan delights in scheming against your best interests. And if you bite his bait, there is a snare awaiting you. To fix this, tune the devil out like tuning out the static on your radio. When you do that, you tune in to God's wisdom to win battles with the devil.

March 7, 2016. I have provided all that you need. It has been there for you before you knew you needed it. Resist any fear that attacks you because of lack. I don't start something that doesn't have the provision to finish. In other words, when I start something, I supply what is needed to maintain and finish it. I am the Alpha and Omega. I know you have to know how to reach the supply. I teach you as you go.

March 7, 2016. When will I be the absolute, number one priority in your life? You say that I am right now, but how about the times you place Me on the back burner in order to satisfy a pending want or need. This is not a sentencing word but an aligning word. How quick is your response time to Me when I say "go" or "be still"? Experience My fullness of freedom through aligning your actions with My speech.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Kathy was blessed by this group of sponsored young people who are in high school and college. Most of them have been sponsored since elementary school. At the time they were sponsored, they were hungry and dirty, living (or surviving) in garbage dumps. They were so poor they could not go to school. Just look at them now! We are so proud of them.

The time came when they were sponsored and life changed for them. They went to school. They ate better food and more often so they were healthier and more alert in school. They could now dream of a future that did not include scavenging through trash for things to sell or use. Today they are preparing to be teachers, computer technicians, nurses and caretakers and other professionals. We are VERY proud of them.

All this was made possible by gifts from Partners, Sponsors and Friends who opened their hearts to help these young people.

There are many children at the garbage site who still cannot go to school because they are unable to pay the required fees and buy the necessary school supplies and clothing. If they don't get an education, they will likely repeat the cycle and continue to live as trash scavengers. Sponsors provide funds for education, nutrition, pastoral care and more. Lives are changed by sponsors.

It is truly amazing what even a small investment of $30 a month per child will make. Pray about it.
