She stood out in the group that gathered when we visited children at the garbage dump. Before we knew her name, we knew she was a sponsored child. See below.

March 2, 2016. Think of the ones who love you. The Lord has put into their hearts a desire to see you being worthy of both His love and theirs. During this Spring season, determine to share your love with those whom God has put into their heart a longing, a need, to receive His love through you. Celebrate the good family traits you are passing along to your generation and the next ones. He stands ready to come alongside you to assure your strong finish of life.

March 2, 2015. Hope was almost lost. You were prepared that this was the way it was always going to be. Then you heard someone reputable say almost off handed that it could be different and hope arose again. Don't give up on hope. Hope is the forerunner of faith. Concentrate on hope and move quickly into faith. Faith is the place where good things happen. I want you always to be walking in faith. Walk in truth from faith to faith.

Romans 1:16-17 (NASB) "For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "BUT THE RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE by FAITH." Bev Robinson

March 2, 2016. Be a champion of your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. When times get tough and they eventually will, be a defender of those with whom you walk side by side on a daily basis. There's nothing more reassuring than to know that your friends have your back when the going gets difficult. Being supportive of one another is an act of your will and is reassuring to those around you.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Standing with me is Irish Claire, one of our sponsored children who lives at a garbage dump site. Her favorite subject in school is math and she looks forward to be becoming an engineer. It would be only an impossible dream if she were not sponsored.

An interesting thing -- it was easy to pick her out from the crowd when we visited the community at the garbage site. She has a look of self-confidence and wholesomeness that was not seen in most of the other children who gathered. Sometimes, people who go with us tell us they can tell which children in a group are sponsored and which are not.

It always amazes us and blesses us to see how the children change once they are sponsored. The difference is amazing to see.

You can make a difference in the life of a child by sponsoring him or her. It is truly amazing what even a small investment of $30 a month per child will make in a young life. Pray about it.
