Children who live at the garbage dumpsite crave attention, something easy and fun to give. See below.

February 16, 2016. Work on your patience. Major changes will soon manifest and will directly affect you and yours. This will require major wisdom and patience on your part. Learn to walk circumspectly, reinforced by knowledge and grace. In the end, you will be successful and blessed by God. Meditate on the Scriptures day and night. Record in a journal what God says and impresses in your mind and heart. A new life awaits you. Live it to the glory of God.

Philippians 3:13 NASB. "Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead,"  Ras Robinson
February 16, 2016. Faith looks good on you. You are wearing it well. It's observable. I see it, but I know your heart and know what is there. Others see it too. They don't know your heart, but they see something good and they respond without knowing what is there. Keep going on the path you are on. You've found a key to living life to the fullest. This will serve you, Me and others well. Beloved, you're pleasing to Me.

Hebrews 11:6 (NASB) "And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him."  Bev Robinson
February 16, 2016. You have had feelings of isolation. There has been a struggle within your inner-self that has you feeling like all alone. Your mind is continually plagued with thoughts that you are the only individual who has had to deal with certain issues. You are not alone; people all around you are struggling with similar matters and are experiencing breakthroughs along their way. Talk to Me. Express yourself to Me like never before.

Hebrews 13:5b (NLT) "For God has said, "I will never fail you. I will never abandon you."  Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Pastor Frank come play with me.
When we visited the garbage dumpsite last Saturday, the children were ready to play. They were so happy to see us and enjoyed the bananas and bread and other goodies we brought for them. What they really wanted more than anything was attention and our team gave it to them in abundance.

We also handed out more than 100 toothbrushes and toothpaste that were donated by one of our sponsors back home. They were all so excited. After all the children received them, the mothers came and asked if they could have one too. Most of the families living here cannot buy a toothbrush for every family member and toothpaste is an unaffordable luxury. The same toothbrush is shared by many. So such a gift is very special to them.

This location was our first in the Philippines. We have been working in this location for about 15 years. We have watched as sponsored children, who did not have a chance at life, grow into beautiful and handsome young people who are educated, godly servants who are in the process of rising out of poverty.

In church on Sunday morning, sponsored young people in high school and college were leading in praise and worship and helping with younger children. Sponsors made their rise out of poverty possible.

Some would say, "Why do you do this? Don't you know there will always be poor people?"  My answer to that is "Yes that is true, but these we help today will not be among the poor tomorrow. There will be another batch." God likes it when we give to and bless the poor. That is reason enough.

On Saturday we saw the "next batch" of poor children who need help. Those we saw were young -- elementary age. Most are not sponsored. One little girl came to the pastor while we were there and asked if he would accept her to be sponsored. He said she comes to him almost every week and asks the same thing. We could sponsor more than 100 today. God may speak to your heart about being part of what He wants to do among the people and in the nation of the Philippines. You can respond by sponsoring children or helping to feed them.

Pray about it. If God speaks to you about it, use the links below. You will be blessed, knowing you are having a life-changing impact on a young life.
