Meet Edward below, a young man who working hard to become successful and is making us proud. See below.

February 2, 2016. Take your rest today. It is your gift from God and you do not want to miss it. Your rest has been promised since you became a child of God. In the creation of all things God Himself rested from His labors once He had finished. Likewise now He encourages you to do your work with excellence and then rest. In doing this act of obedience, you will insure a long and good life.

Hebrews 4:8-10 (NASB)"For if Joshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. So there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For the one who has entered His rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from His." Ras Robinson

February 2, 2016. "Good times are ahead." I said this earlier. You believed Me and began to walk in faith. Blessings poured in and then things happened that didn't fit into what you thought was good. You began to question and doubt that you heard Me. You remained on that downward path and walked further and further away from My plan. Get up and get back on My path of blessings. Believe what I say and watch the blessings begin to multiply.

February 2, 2016. You've been made righteous by Me and Me alone. There is nothing you can do of your own accord to ever muster up enough good graces to be righteous yourself. Therefore, learn to rest in the grace in which I've placed you and learn to walk uprightly in all aspects of your daily living. Whether it is spiritual, natural or emotional, move about every day blamelessly and honorably by the means I've provided you.

Romans 3:22-24 (NLT) "We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard. Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins." Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

This is a young man who is working very hard and making us so proud. His name is Edward. He is 17 years old. Edward is what some refer to as a "scattered child." It means he moves from place to place and stays as long as someone wants to care for him. He did not go to school or church and never knew where he would call home next, when he had to move on.

A pastor, writing to us about him said, "He is suffering because he thinks no one cares for him and about his future. He desires to go to school and he approached us asking if he can avail of this opportunity. He wondered if someone out there might someday be interested in him."

We did find a sponsor for Edward. He has done very well in school and grown in confidence. He is a good, responsible young man who is encouraging younger boys who have life experiences similar to his.

If it were not for a sponsor, Edward would not have had the opportunity to go to school, to know Jesus and begin thinking of a good future. A sponsor has made a life-changing impact on his life. He will never be the same.
