January 28, 2016. Everything has a season. This includes you. You came into this world because the season in your parents' life was to re-produce. God invented and gave seasons to all of mankind and His creation. Seasons keep us fresh with anticipation of what might be just around the corner in the upcoming season. Through seasons, God teaches us to be prepared to change, to make the most of change and be wise. Pray, embrace, learn from and maximize each seasonal change.

2 Timothy 4:2 (NASB) "preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction."  Ras Robinson
January 28, 2016. What someone else is doing keeps filling your mind. You think you need to be doing the kinds of things they are doing. This kind of thinking has you stymied. You really down deep know better. But nevertheless your mind is filled with comparisons. I have specific things for you. I have plans for you. If you will listen and fill your mind with what I want, you will see blessings for which you hoped come forth.

Psalm 37:3-4 (NLT) "Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper. Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires."  Bev Robinson
January 28, 2016. You have begun to worry about some of the situations that are at hand. It seems there are more things to be anxious about than usual. From your perspective, what have been the factors that have changed? You know I never change and that I am as steady as can be. So what is it that has changed? Has your prayer life shifted to something that is not helpful? Instead of worrying, pray.

Philippians 4:6 (NLT) "Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done."  Kevin Robinson

Ministry tchild renChildren in the Philippines

A sponsor makes it possible for poor children to get an education and have a better future.

Some have wondered about our mission and calling in the Philippines. what we hope to We hope you enjoyed reading about the vision and mission of the ministry in the Philippines. If you missed it, you can read it on our website at Missions.  Today we share the strategy God gave for accomplishing that which He called us to do.

Strategy - What We Do
  • Pay school expenses for children who, without financial help, would not be able to attend school.
  • Give assistance to our sponsored children who wish to continue on to college to prepare for a successful future. This is quite amazing for a child who could not attend even elementary school without financial assistance.
  • Provide meals for malnourished children and their families living at dumpsites, on the streets and under bridges. The frequency varies by location and need.
  • Provide funds for job training for young men and women who do not have the education needed to be self sustaining and productive in society.
  • Work through local church leaders and pastors who know the children and families and their needs. We send small financial support to these leaders and require a monthly report on the ministry, accountability of the money sent for ministry and to let us know of unmet needs.
  • Recruit sponsors and investors to help with the cost of food, education and discipleship training for the children.
  • Travel to the Philippines once a year to visit locations where we sponsor children and youth. We meet with the local pastors and leaders who care for the children and visit personally with as many of the children as is possible.
  • Between annual visits, we are in frequent contact with our onsite leadership through e-mail.
Read "How It All Began" by Ras Robinson for the story of how God first spoke to Ras Robinson about this ministry to children.
