January 22, 2016. Prepare, brace and fortify yourself for soon will arrive a period of gray and creeping darkness. Lay in emergency supplies and food reserves as a precaution for such dark forecasts of the future. Most importantly, talk to the Lord often. Get His direction and learn to think as He thinks. Study the processes of God's thinking, as you observe them. You want to make your Daddy proud. That is a great goal.

January 22, 2016. There are people throughout your life who have helped you become the person you are today. I put them in your path. They saw something in you that made them want to help. Now is a good time to remember them and their words and actions. You could not have become the person you are today without them. Thank Me for putting them there and thank them or the remembrance of them. Thankfulness is a good thing.

January 22, 2016. It's time to start thinking outside the box. For too long you have had a limited perspective when it comes to spiritual matters. You are a creature of habit and you have incomplete and restricted viewpoints pertaining to what is real and what is not. Just because you have not seen something does not mean it is not valid or worth checking out. Learn to think abstractly and challenge yourself to press forward. You will enjoy the outcome.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Having lunch on a school day is not a sure things for poor children in the Philippines. With no food at home and no money, too many times such children go without lunch. The chances are good that they did not have breakfast before school either. This makes it really hard to concentrate and do well in school.

The children in the photo above are sponsored by FCM. They come to the pastor's home on school days for a good healthy lunch made possible by your gifts. When you send money to "Food for Learning," you help make sure the children have the supplemental nutrition that helps them do their best in school. When the children have good food, they are healthier and their attendance and performance improve. This helps them gain the knowledge and skills necessary to rise out of poverty.
