January 21, 2016. School yourself to understand the needy. Keep your heart and purse open and ready to give to help those in need. It is not your job to judge them about why they are needy. Jesus said the poor will always be with us. It is also true that the prosperous will always be among us. The Lord says, "Prepare to share with the needy. Set aside an envelope and keep it supplied ready to give to those in need.

January 21, 2016. Walk under My blessings. Stay in the center of what I have said to you. Don't wander to the right or left. Don't get ahead and don't lag behind. When you do this, blessings abound. You are in my grace so don't think poorly of yourself in any way. Don't run yourself down. Running yourself down and thinking about how bad it is, gets you out of faith. Believe that I always have the best for you.

The issue at stake is the matter of trust. It's not so much your trusting of other people as much as it is trusting Me. Some things haven't worked as you planned and now you wonder what's next. Know that My plans for you are perfect.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Having lunch on a school day is not a sure things for poor children in the Philippines. With no food at home and no money, too many times such children go without lunch. The chances are good that they did not have breakfast before school either. This makes it really hard to concentrate and do well in school.

The children in the photo above are sponsored by FCM. They come to the pastor's home on school days for a good healthy lunch made possible by your gifts. When you send money to "Food for Learning," you help make sure the children have the supplemental nutrition that helps them do their best in school. When the children have good food, they are healthier and their attendance and performance improve. This helps them gain the knowledge and skills necessary to rise out of poverty.
