What would you do if a small child like one of those pictured here came knocking on your door asking for something to eat?

Before calling CPS, most of us would gladly give them something to eat. That happens too often in the Philippines and I expect in many other countries as well. 

The children pictured here are some who sometimes come knocking on the door of the pastor's home early in the morning. They want to know if there is any food they can eat. They are very hungry, possibly having had nothing to eat the day before. Or maybe they have been scrounging through trash and found nothing.

God has blessed FCM with wonderful pastors who care for children. Even before they became part of the FCM group of pastors, this compassionate couple fed hungry children from their own meager food supply. She would often stand at the door as children walked by on the way to school and asked those from poor families if they had eaten breakfast. Most often they would say, "No, there is no food in our house today." Then they were invited to have something to eat before continuing to school.
