Children in a very poor community in the Philippines came to the party. even many who were not sponsored. Thank you for your part in making it special for them. See below.

January 11, 2016. Do not be surprised if, when you witness of Jesus, that your audience firmly resists. You have found great favor in evangelism up to now. Times are always changing and so is grace to receive the Gospel message. Prepare and pray more than ever before

that your words and deeds about Christ are accepted in hearts when you share. Fields are still white unto harvest. Send out and yourself be among the laborers in the harvest.

January 11, 2016. I will show you what to say. You have a nagging feeling all is not right and you are right. All is not right. You sense something isn't complete. Yes, that's it. Do not let your concerns overwhelm what you are now doing. What you say will be a blessing. Stay on course. Stay with your action plan. At the right time I will bring forth to your mind what is missing. It can be said then.

January 11, 2016. One of the biggest impacts you will ever have upon the world around you, is the consistency you demonstrate and live out on a daily basis. Believe it or not, people are watching you like a hawk. That is not to say you are prey, but they are observing your every move. People are looking for stability, dependability and reliability in those they know. Live in a manner worthy of the calling I have placed within you.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

These children live in an area some call the poorest location in the Philippines. With the help of sponsors we have the joy of helping 28 very awesome children and young people get an education and become strong disciples of Jesus. Because you gave so generously for Christmas, a party was given for the 28 sponsored children, their brothers and sister plus many poor children in the neighborhood. There was much laughter and joy filled the air.

Here is a note received from the pastor of these children: "A blessed New Year to everyone! We had a great holiday thanks to you and FCM sponsors. Last December 21, we held a Christmas party in our church for the sponsored students and their brothers and sisters. With the help of our youth leaders, we prepared songs, games, prizes, gifts, and of course food. We couldn't help but also let other poor children from the neighborhood join us even if they are not part of the sponsorship because we could see they wanted to be in the party. These kids are part of the feeding ministry. We had 80+ kids who came and because we were more in numbers, the party was merrier."

The families in this location have suffered much from recent typhoons and floods that destroyed homes and belongings. They survived a fire that swept through a seaside neighborhood and destroyed every home. There are many children here who need help.
