January 7, 2016. God is not angry with you. You have no greater friend than He. He has chosen you and piled up blessings for you that are beyond measure. Jesus was sent to earth to save, deliver and heal you. In God you are wealthy and rich? When Jesus was crucified, all the inheritance He died to provide is now ready for delivery to you. Get ready! Prepare yourself for explosive favor, unchecked love and reception of all your inheritance from God.

January 7, 2016. Handling things by yourself is something with which you are very familiar. It has been like that most of your life. There was no one there you could depend on. I was with you then and I am with you now. You didn't know Me then, but nevertheless I helped you. Now you know it is I who is helping, and this brings enormous peace of mind and a smile to your face. We love each other.

January 7, 2016. Be careful of entering into another person's foolishness. You have struggles to deal with of your own, let alone becoming involved in the struggles of someone else. Pay attention to those who fall into follies of all shapes and sizes and notice how quickly they fall prey to their own misfortune again and again. There is more than enough nasty filth being regurgitated over and over in the world around you. Rise above the garbage and keep yourself pure.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

This handsome young man is Jefferson, one of our sponsored young people. He was so pleased to receive a roasted chicken and bottle of soft drink to take home for the family Christmas meal. That was made possible by your extra donations for Christmas.

Jefferson has grown up in the home of his grandparents who are very poor and not healthy. They have struggled to survive. His grandparents could not even afford to feed him. Jefferson is very smart and wanted so much to go to school, but school was not possible. At a young age he began working as a carpenter's helper, earning about $1 a day. He used it to buy school supplies. He was determined to graduate. He is so thankful now to have a sponsor to help him get an education and provide some extra food for him which is a big help to his grandparents.

Here is a note received from Jefferson:

First of all Happy New Year to you and your family! You are a blessing to me. Thank you for the roasted chicken for our Christmas. My school shoes were too worn and I did not have shoes anymore for school. My grandpa and grandma do not like me to be a born again Christian so they refuse to help me with my school needs. My grandfather wanted me to stop going to school because he is poor and sickly and could not pay for the expenses. I still respect them, but I can't stop attending Bible Studies, Sunday church and overnight prayer every Friday with our pastor. My reward is shoes!!! All of us were asked what we want for Christmas and I told Pastor "a pair of shoes!" I got them. I even got two pair so if one pair is dirty, I can wear the other ones. Thank you Lord and thank you Sponsor.

If you want to be part of God's plan to change young lives like Jefferson, consider becoming a sponsor for one or more children. The investment in their lives is a good one. If sponsoring children is not your desire, consider giving as you can to help with the cost of food. With good food given regularly, the children are healthier, more alert and do better in school.
