Children at the garbage dumpsite find a place to sit and have their breakfast. Their parents, and some of them as well, are trash scavengers. When we first went there, the children did not want us to take their photos. They said, "People always come here and take our pictures. They promise to help us but they never come back." They felt exploited (and I would have too). It broke my heart to hear that. Now that several of them are sponsored, they like to see us coming and ALWAYS say thank you for helping them go to school and to have food. Some of these children will become leaders and professionals who will affect their society. Thank you for making good things possible for these beautiful children.

Thank you for praying for the sponsored children. They try so hard to do well and they have much to overcome. Your prayers for them are important.
