Nicole makes it plain that she does not consider poverty to be a hindrance to success. Read about her below and be inspired.

November 11, 2015. Can you see the face of Jesus?Over time you will discover the power and privileges of loving righteousness and justice. The more you embrace and practice these divine attributes, the more you are apt to see the Lord Jesus in the midst of your pursuits. The more you embrace these qualities, the more you will find Him smiling at you with a happy face. And once you encounter Him, you will never be the same.
Psalm 11:7 (NIV)"For the LORD is righteous, he loves justice; upright men will see his face." Ras Robinson

November 11, 2015. Now is not the time to speak. Seek Me and My ways before you speak or later you will experience regret. If you speak now, what comes out will not handle the problem even though it will relieve some pressure. Seek Me, My wisdom and My timing. You want blessings, not turmoil. Saying what is best, what I want, when I say it will bring peace. Tell Me your disappointment, but don't speak your mind to others.
Ephesians 4:29-30 (NASB) "Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear. Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." Bev Robinson

November 11, 2015. Lend Me your ear. With all the hustle and bustle going on around about you, I want you to pay close attention to what I am saying. Though the verbiage may be different from person to person, the thrust behind the message is the same. As simple as it may sound, let love abound. Allow others to see Jesus in all that you do and say. Be an immediate follower of the instructions I give you continuously.
Matthew 11:15 (NLT) "Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!" Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines
This is Nicole, age 17. She comes from a poor family in the Philippines. She and her family of 6 live in a small 2-room house where they all sleep on a bamboo floor. But she does not let poverty stop her from pursuing her education. She is out to prove to everyone that being poor is not a hindrance to being successful in life. Nicole is in her 1st year of college, studying to earn a Batchelor of Science in Office Administration. Her sponsor has been a big help and encouragement to her. We do not provide for all of her expenses so she has to work to earn additional money. She does not let that stop her. She looks forward to the day when she can be a help to her family, especially her parents because, as she says, "they have always been there to support me."
We also sponsor Nicole's younger brother Christian, age 14 who is doing well in school and wants to be an engineer.
Here is a note from Nicole: Good day to you! I just wanna give my warmest thank you to you for another month of helping me. And because of you, I finished my first semester. I am so happy that you became part of my life. You're one of best expressions of love. Semester break is approaching and I can give much time to my family. I do hope you're living with happiness and joy not just outside, but inside. God bless you and I love you from the bottom of my heart.
Young people like Nicole and Christian continue to need help for school. God is raising them up to be part of His plan for the future of the Philippines. An investment in children and youth like this sister and brother is a good investment in the future of the nation.
Christmas is coming soon! We need to receive the donations for Christmas before Thanksgiving so we can send the money the first week of December to the pastors who care for the children.
Our Christmas blessings for the children includes a gift for every sponsored child (all 821 of them) plus their siblings (and some have several unsponsored siblings). We will also provide something special to eat, either at a Christmas meal at the church or for them to take home. It is a big vision, but we have a great big God. Please be a part.
