September 29, 2015. Worry accomplishes nothing positive. Why waste time on it when you can invest instead in prayer and sincere faith? God can handle your worries, just give Him a chance. Talking to God about things that tend to overwhelm you can release the power of the Holy Spirit to orchestrate atmospheric joy and delight. Put your faith in the source of all things, your Heavenly Father. Let Him bless and transform you and your situation. Believe God.

September 29, 2015. As long as you keep rehearsing pain and sorrows, Satan has you where he wants you. Your mind and heart needs to surrender to Me. Of course I want you to tell Me how it hurts, I am your Savior. For you I gave My life. After you pour out your hurts, My blood cleanses. Our Father has much more for you. Now listen to My Spirit. Obeying His voice buoys you into a much higher plane.

September 29, 2015. Don't ignore the needs of people wherever they are, in other countries or in your country, in other cities or in your home town. Don't forget the people close to you or far away. There are many opportunities to help. I am showing you ways all the time where you can help people. Don't pass any of them by. Ask Me to open your eyes and soften your heart. When you're helping others, you're helping Me.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

This fine young man is Anthony (called Anton by his family and friends), one of our FCM sponsored college students. Anton has been sponsored since he was a small boy in elementary school. The family was hard working, but still very poor because they were not educated. They were not Christian and not in church. Through sponsorship of Anton and others in his family, the door was opened for the Gospel to be shared, resulting in the whole family accepting Jesus as Savior and becoming active members of a local church.
 
Anton was small and shy and his life was not easy. As a sponsored child, he grew in wisdom and became a strong healthy young man and a mighty prayer warrior. He learned to hope for things he did not yet see. As time passed it was discovered that he had a gift for playing musical instruments. In high school he was awarded an honor as the best instrumentalist in his school. He continues to grow in music ability and is now mentoring others. He teaches a Sunday School class and helps in many others ways in his church.
 
One thing that stand out in my memory of Anton is the way he helped rebuild churches and homes of many families who lost everything in the big earthquake and typhoons that so devastated his town about 2 years ago.
 
If it were not for a sponsor and a pastor who gave to help Anton, this gifted young man would have been lost in the bondage of poverty. He would be uneducated and working hard but getting nowhere. He is now in college working toward a Degree in Education with an emphasis in math. We are proud of him.
