September 14, 2015. Pray to be baptized with the Holy Spirit and fire. God wants to lead you through the Holy Spirit. He wants to purify and keep you cleansed by the Holy Spirit. The baptism in and with fire is essential for you to lead a life filled with power and love and Jesus. One attribute of the believer who seeks the baptisms is humility. John was not bragging or puffing himself up because his job was to baptize with water for repentance. Instead, he reduced himself to nearly nothing, giving all praise to Jesus.

Matthew 3:11 (NASB) "As for me, I baptize you with water for repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, and I am not fit to remove His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire." Ras Robinson


September 14, 2015. Don't depend on your feelings because they will betray you. Instead wait on My timing. You will know when to act and what to do for I am leading you by speaking to your spirit. Failures of the past will knock at your door with reasons for failure this time, but don't answer the door. Don't even crack the door. If you will do this My Spirit will keep thoughts of the past at bay, and instead flood you with thoughts of what to do now. New success will drown past failures.

September 14, 2015. The world is full of times and events telling of inconsistencies in every aspect of life. It seems there no area of life without the exposure of undependable people at one time or another. May you be the one who changes people's perspective by being faithful and trustworthy. You are already known by your love and good deeds. Be a catalyst to buck the trends. I am within you and I am as steady and dependable as the sun. Be reliable in all you do with everyone every day.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

This pretty girl is Annaliza, one of our sponsored children in the Philippines. We have seen an amazing transformation in the life of this child. Life was very hard for her when we first met her.

About 2 years ago one of our pastors wrote us about her. She had discovered her living in extreme poverty. In her words, Annaliza "had an awful appearance, having dirty, smelly, torn and tattered clothes." She was extremely shy and would not even speak when asked a question. She almost never went to school. She did not want to go to school, even if she could. The other kids either ignored her or teased her because "she smelled bad." The beautiful black hair you see here was a mess and showed signs of malnutrition.

The pastor asked if there was any way we could help. If she were sponsored, she would have what she needed for school and would have someone to care for her, making sure she bathed and combed her hair and would have some nutritious food to eat. We said yes.

The change did not happen overnight. Sometimes she did not want to go to school and her pastor had to go get her out of bed. Gradually, little by little, she began to change. Her hygiene became better. She had new clothes for school, her attendance improved. As she got good nutrition, even her appearance improved. In a short two years, she is very different. She likes going to school now and has lots of friends.

It has taken a team for this amazing transformation. Her pastor, Antoniette Larroza, has spent a lot of time teaching her and mentoring her. A sponsor from FCM has made sure she has everything she needs for school and some help with nutrition. 

Here is a note from Pastor Antoinette: "We visited Annaliza this morning in school. We paid for her school needs. She was very happy to see us. Thank You Lord for changing her life."

When a sponsor and a local pastor combine efforts, they help children reach their potential and fulfill the purpose God has for them. Don't ever think what you give doesn't make a difference. You can be part of giving hope to children like Annaliza. We need people to give to feed hungry children.
