September 11, 2015.  When you get angry, your arrogance is exposed. It is observed not only by Me, but also by those who hear your words and witness your behavior. Be honest with yourself about the anger and arrogance. Examine yourself and repent. Be careful not to become the judge and jury against another. You must allow Me to be the judge of all. Though this sin is common to mankind, it does not please Me for My children to become arrogant. Try humility and observe the wonders it does in relationships.

September 11, 2015.  Any good parent or good friend doesn't enable bad behavior. Healthy love challenges bad behavior. I am a good Father. I love you without measure, but I also love you enough to speak to bad behavior. I lead you to the narrow road of repentance. My correction is not mean spirited or derogatory, but its purpose is to turn you in the right direction. I love you too much to let anything that causes you and others grief go by without pointing it out and showing you a better way. 
 
Hebrews 12:8-10 (NASB)"But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?  For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness."  Bev Robinson


September 11, 2015. I am in the rebuilding and restoration business. It may sometimes appear that I am tearing things down, but I am merely trying to get rid of things that are detrimental and cumbersome to a rebuilding process. I allow certain things to occur according to My will. Although you may not understand their complexity, My plans will be accomplished as I see fit. What you perceive to be somewhat of a catastrophe or debacle, is actually My orchestration of My ways being accomplished for My glory and turning someone's heart toward Me.

!! EXPLOSION SUNDAY !! -- THIS SUNDAY -- September 13

According to Acts 12:1-17, the Church was activated to pray and miracles happened.  Verse 5: "But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him."  After that prayer, Peter miraculously walked out of prison, past guards, through gates and to the front door of the home where the Church had gathered...a true miracle!

Our Elders have heard that God wants us to implement a time of spiritual growth and a time of activation for miracles in our Church. We're calling it the ACTS 12 PROJECT.  We will begin our Adult Bible Study with Ras Robinson teaching about miracles, signs and wonders and how God has a destiny of revival for our Church. Cynthia Lee and Steven Dove will be assisting Ras. Jeannie Tune will lead Adult Intercession and Mia Poe will lead Children's Intercession. Patrick Anderson and Rachel Thompson will teach our youth. Diane Harrison and Peggy Morton will lead in Inner Healing. April Bohlin will teach our preschoolers with Rebekah Arboleda. 

Here is the schedule for Sunday:

9:30 -10:15 - Classes or groups for every age.
A greeter will be at the door Sunday morning to show you the way!

10:30 - Worship service. Ras Robinson preaching.
 
On Thursday nights at 6:30 PM, beginning September 17, we will read and discuss the book When Heaven Invades Earth by Bill Johnson. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to learn how to activate Heaven on Earth. Books are available at the church for purchase. Cost: $15

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

These children at the garbage dumpsite have a lot of potential. They are smart, sometimes funny, sometimes sad, sometimes sick and always hungry. Except for the fact that they are poor, uneducated and undernourished, they are a lot like most other children. 

They have potential -- they could be teachers, nurses, politicians, pastors, accountants, business owners, but they will need a lot of help. They need education and food. They need a pastor to tell them about Jesus and how to live for Him. 

When a sponsor and a local pastor combine efforts, they can help children reach their potential and fulfill the purpose God has for them. The children in this photo live at a garbage site where one of our pastors ministers every day. He tries to care for them as much as he can, but his resources are not enough alone. The children seen here are not yet sponsored but they need sponsors.
 
Don't ever think it doesn't really make a difference. You can be part of giving hope to children like these. You can give a child the hope of being something besides a trash scavenger. Your gifts change young lives forever. We need people to give to feed hungry children. We need more sponsors to send uneducated children to school. There are links below to assist you in giving online.
