Apostolic leadership is to be equipping the saints for the work that must be done. It was never the plan for paid staff to do all the work. See brief article from Jonas Bohlin below.

September 10, 2015. Jesus taught Heaven being near. His Kingdom in Heaven is already here now as well as in the heavenlies. He gave His own interpretation that in Heaven there are continuous miracles of healing, resurrections, casting out demons and various other supernatural miracles. Jesus charged His disciples (just like you) to go and announce that all of this heavenly activity is here now. They were to declare in their announcement that His power is totally available to move Heaven into earth right now. Jesus would never make a false promise or declaration. Believe and obey.

September 10, 2015. I know you are waiting to see if something is real. It came out of the blue and seems a little slick. Don't pass any kind of judgment. Don't lag behind and don't get ahead. Just keep trusting Me. You are moving in the dark, but it isn't a dark that I don't know about.  I know the whole thing and can see the complete picture. I will give enough light for you to see where to make the next move. Keep following. Make no predeterminations. You will understand later.

Psalm 139:10-12 (NASB) "Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will lay hold of me. If I say, "Surely the darkness will overwhelm me, And the light around me will be night," Even the darkness is not dark to You, And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You." Bev Robinson

September 10, 2015. Be aware of the lures Satan places before you. Some are blatant and some are obscure. Know that his plan is to distract you from the plan I have set before you. The lures come in all shapes and sizes and will come when you least expect them. Satan knows you very well because he has been studying mankind for thousands of years. Keep yourself in My word and prayed up continually, thwarting his wicked schemes with which he intends to catch you off guard and off balance.

Who Is the Minister?
Jonas Bohlin

A few days ago I spoke to a business man from East Texas who was actively involved in the leadership of his church. As a matter of fact, he had just preached a sermon the Sunday before. He was struggling with whether or not he should give up his business job and enter the ministry "full-time." The Lord said to me, "Tell him that the whole Body of Christ has been called to be ministers wherever we are." I spoke that word to him and he stopped, looked at me, and said, "You are exactly right."

For too long, the church has left the ministry up to full-time staff. I believe it is because we get so wrapped up in jobs, family, house...life that it just makes sense to leave the ministry to the "pastors". It's their job! That is just not the way the church was designed!

There is apostolic leadership that is to equip the saints for the work that must be done and to build up the Body of Christ.

Ephesians 4:11-12 (NASB)  "And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ."

This passage continues in verse 13, "Until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ."

The work of those with apostolic gifts is to continue until the Body attains unity, knowledge of Jesus and maturity to the point that we are like Jesus in every way. You are called to be equipped and built up by "full-time" ministers in order to serve the mature, Christ-like function in the Kingdom that God has designed specifically for you right where you are.

You are the minister!!

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

When we first met Theodore, he lived at a garbage dump and spent his time scavenging through trash for any items that could be sold or used. Pastor Franco Trigo took notice of him and recommended him to be sponsored. As a teenager, he was sponsored and went to school in classes where the children were younger because he had not been to school very much in his younger life.

I remember once when Pastor Trigo wrote to us about Theodore. The school principal thought Pastor was wasting his time and FCM was wasting their money on this boy who could never finish school and would never amount to anything. We joined our prayers with Pastor Trigo who encouraged him to study hard and do the very best he could.

Here is an excerpt from a letter we received this week from Pastor Trigo:

Our report for this month is so memorable because on the way home from a wedding a young man greeted us: "Hi Pastor Franco! How are you? Do you still remember me? I am Theodore, a sponsored child from the Fullness in Christ Ministry under your care." We were surprised because Theodore now is not anymore like he was before. He is a smart and handsome young professional man.

Here is Theodore's Story as told by Pastor Trigo:
Theodore was one of the first of our students who was sponsored. He came from the dumpsite area. The school principal got angry with us, asking why we would help this boy. He did not want us to enroll him in his school. We persuaded the principal to give him a chance. We told the principal we would take care of this boy and pay his fees from the money sent by FCM. Theodore was excited to study and we gave him whatever he needed in school, like food, school uniforms, shoes, money for allowance, raincoat, etc. just like we give to our students now.

So, to make it short, Theodore graduated from high school. He wanted to go to college but FCM did not have money to help him. So he got a job as a gasoline boy in the city and studied for his college degree during night time. Last March 2015 he graduated with a degree in Accounting. Now he is already employed in one of the big establishments of vehicles. He is the one who audits all the branches of the company within Visayas and Mindanao. That's why we met in the boat on our way home from the wedding. He had been to Cagayan de Oro to audit the branches there.

Theodore is very much thankful to FCM for they were the channel of blessing that gave him the courage to study and finish his course in Accountancy. His testimony made us very happy.

We are always hoping and praying that our students will be professionals someday. As his pastor who cared for him, we feel so much joy because this boy still remembers us and respects us.

To God be the glory!
Pastor Franco & Soles Trigo
