September 1, 2015. Eons before you were born I knew the time, place and circumstances in which you would arrive. I had your days on earth planned before there was one of them. I did not control your ancestors nor do I control you. I pray for you to make good choices, those that line up with My will and blessings for you. When you make another choice I pray for you to return to My will and blessings. All the days of your life are filled with blessings. Child, walk in them.

September 1, 2015. With all of the current events making headlines and taking place, it is hard not to get in a state of fear and panic. Even though your eyes see and ears hear of chaotic and frenzied turmoil, trust Me as the constant for your soul. What is the unwavering truth in your life which never changes? I am the one who allows these happenings and trials to occur. Through the millenniums of time, who have people turned to? Can you grasp Me in the midst of all of the commotion?

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

This is Vince, Princess Camille and Emilie. They are friends who live at a garbage dumpsite. Their pastor took the photo one day when they showed up to help clean the church.

The three of them have been sponsored and because of the help they receive, they go to school every day. Arrangements have been made with a canteen near the school for the children to get "viand" (a mixture of meat and vegetables that usually goes over rice) for their lunch every day. They are very thankful for the help they receive.

Below are notes received this week from these 3 children. We hope you enjoy them as we have:

From Vince - Dear Ate Kathy and Sponsor, I thank the Lord that He gave me a sponsor to help me in school. I can eat my lunch with viand now because my pastor is paying it weekly. Before I only ate rice. Thank you my sponsor and Ate Kathy. About my health I am well and healthy. I help my pastor clean the church and also regularly attend Sunday service. I learn many Bible verses now. Please pray that I can finish my school and also my other brothers and my sister. 

From Princess Camille - Dear Sponsor and Ate Kathy, I am so glad that God heard my prayers about my sickness. I got a cough and my tonsil was painful. Now it's healed. I praise God my parents are in good health. My mother and I attend Sunday service, but I am praying that Papa will also come. In the house I help my mother wash our plates after eating. When my task is over, I study my lessons because my mother is angry if I don't study. So I have to study well. I like it because she helps me study my lessons which is why my grades in all subjects are good, but I don't like Math!

From Emelie -.Dear Sponsor and Ate Kathy, Thank you Lord for helping me in my studies and also with my  lunch. That is what I prayed because I always ate only rice in school without viand. I thank You, God, that sometimes my classmates would share their food with me. But now I just go to the School Canteen to choose what I like for my rice because Pastor Lilian has paid it. I like vegetables or pancit with cabbage in it. In the house I watch my younger brothers and sister. On Saturdays we go together to the Feeding that our Pastor is doing for us. I also attend Sunday worship. About my health: there are times I have headache, but I just pray and I am healed. I have a new teacher because the former one was promoted as principal. My new one always calls on me in times of asking questions because I raise my hands each time there is a question and my answer is right. Praise the Lord.
