August 31, 2015. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Turn your eyes upon Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. He has a safety net prepared for you. You are loved and protected. The enemy of your soul desires to kill, steal and destroy. He is counting on you being passive and unresponsive. Surprise him today with a strong defense and a retaliating counter attack. Mark your boundaries and defend what is yours. Quote your scriptural promises to him and invite the Holy Spirit to give victory. He will!

August 31, 2015. Changes are occurring right before your eyes. You have not been here before and you aren't sure what to do about them. You're concerned you aren't handling them the best way. You have prayed and that lets Me know you know things are changing. The changes are natural changes but are, at the same time, the way I have orchestrated events. Go to a friend who you know loves you. Ask for prayer and advice especially in the area that you don't know what is happening. We need one another.

August 31, 2015. I know your grief is real, perhaps even too real to face at this time. Your sorrow seems too much to bear. The weight of events that have recently happened in your life make you feel like your insides are turning inside out. I understand more than you know. Trust Me with your complete cares and concerns. Know that crying and weeping are normal and are helpful for your health and well-being. Find ways to rejoice through optimistic perspectives of your trial. Come close to My heart and breathe.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

After Children's Church, the children are given a bowl of vitamin enriched food that contains all the vitamins and minerals they need to be healthy. The food is available to them because people who care give to provide it. Without the financial help, there would be no food in the bowls.

Most of us who give never get to go to a faraway place and actually hand the bowl of food to a hungry child. But when you give, you make that food available for them just as if you were there in person. Many of the children, especially as they get older often tell us they are so thankful for the food. Many of them have known the feeling of being hungry and not having anything to satisfy the hunger. Some know what it is like to have to scavenge trash for something they can eat. So food is a precious thing to them.

Your help is a vital part of God's plan to give very poor children hope for a better future than would be possible without your help. You can be part of giving hope to some very poor children in the Philippines. Your gifts change young lives forever. We need more sponsors. We need those who give to feed hungry children.
