August 25, 2015. Rejoice in the Lord for He is your hope in this world. Daily you sit in His classroom. Abiding faith in Jesus, assures that no day is ever without faith. He does for you what you cannot do for yourself. Bring to remembrance all Jesus meant to you at the time of your salvation and has been since. His friendship never ends or fades away. He provides a basket of fresh mercies each morning for you. His expressed love is like a supernatural garden to enjoy every morning, all during the day and then at night.

August 25, 2015. Jesus reported that he didn't lose a one of those given to Him by God. Do you give grace to those who have disappointed you?  I have given you an example of how to have and maintain long term relationships. Follow what I did. I extended grace to Peter even when he failed. That grace changed his life. When I returned to My Father and the Holy Spirit descended on those in the upper room, Peter was the one who stood among the other disciples and proclaimed the truth. Extend grace to those I have given you.

August 25, 2015. My blood gives you hope when there is despair. It is My righteousness which covers your sin and guilt. It is My joy that replaces your sorrow. It is My peace which covers your discord. I am the one who is your all in all. I am the one who ministers gentleness when things are harsh. It is My kindness that displaces unthoughtful deeds. I am the one who is faithful again and again without limits. My patience is yours when frustration has reached its end. I am love personified.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

After Children's Church on Sunday morning, the children receive a bowl of vitamin enriched and very tasty rice. The food contains all the vitamins and minerals they need for healthy growth. Some of what you send buys food for these precious boys and girls.  

It takes a team to bring the needed change. It takes sponsors, pastors, school teachers, parents or guardians and others. Thank you for being part of the team that helps change the lives of the children. Without your help they would be caught in a cycle of poverty inherited from their parents and grandparents. They would be hungry. They would be uneducated. They would be without hope.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for more than 800 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
