August 18, 2015. May you never doubt your standing with God. Be assured in your heart that He is and forever will be your solid foundation. He does not go and come as does the wind. You can be assured daily that, as a born again believer, God is for you as a steady and secure rock. He not only saves you, but He will never leave you unprotected or in danger of being cut off or abandoned. The same faith that brought you to salvation still stands as your safety. Only believe.

August 18, 2015. The important things are happening according to My will. Don't allow the minor unpleasant things that happened throw you off course. Keep your mind on the good important things. Guess who sent the minors? Yes you know. Satan wants to get you off course. Don't give him the time of day. Don't let your mind go there. He wants you rehearsing all the bad. He wants you upset. Think of the things I want for you. Think of all the fruit of the Spirit. That is My way to live.

August 18, 2015. I want you to know that I know your parental wounds are real. Before you knew Me like you do, I was watching as I have been from the very beginning. During those times of heartache, headache and unbelief as to what you were experiencing, I was there. As your Heavenly Father, my desire is for you to come to Me with all your pain and suffering. I know the memories are often unbearable and sometimes very hard to comprehend. Turn to Me and realize My validation and understanding are even more real.
 
Psalm 37:5-6 (MSG) "Open up before God, keep nothing back, he'll do whatever needs to be done: He'll validate your life in the clear light of day and stamp you with approval at high noon."  Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

This is Julito. He grew up at the garbage dump for one of the largest cities in the Philippines. We have sponsored Julito for several years and watched him grow up into a fine young man. At one time, he was not sure he could finish even elementary school. Now he is soon to graduate with a degree in electrical engineering. In fact, he has already been a big help to several members of his church as well as working on electrical systems of a new church building. 

We first began to sponsor Julito because his father was sick with tuberculosis and could not work so the family was in serious need and Julito could not go to school because they could not pay the required fees or even buy school supplies. Now Julito is helping others. He is active in his church and plays the guitar on the praise team. 

We are proud of Julito for his hard work and his accomplishments. He is worthy of the investment from his sponsor, his pastor and others who have helped him and encouraged him along the way. When we think of what could have happened to this talented young man if someone had not made the decision to sponsor a child in desperate need, it makes us more thankful for all the sponsors who make miracles happen, miracles that change lives for eternity.
