August 17, 2015. Do you have supernatural experiences from time to time? I have read and am now studying Pastor Bill Johnson's book When Heaven Invades Earth. His inspired and skilled writing of biblical revelation is astounding. I have gotten caught up in it. My son Kevin loaned me a set of professionally narrated CD's of the book. Having read the words, hearing them is wonderful. I encourage you to get the book and if possible, also the CD's. Bev and I have begun praying in the Spirit like never before. The results amaze us!

August 17, 2015. What is front and center going on in your life right now is like a coin. There is heads and tails on the same coin. One side for heads and the other for tails. It remains to be seen which side you will go with. Same coin, two sides. Same circumstance, with two sides, just like the coin. Don't go the tails way. I have made you the head and not the tail. That alone should tell you something. You have a choice which side you will choose. Choose heads.

August 17, 2015. Although you may not have a green thumb or possess the attributes of a master gardener, you need to assess your own growth. It is time to perform a close inspection for what you have been given responsibility. In reality, only you and I know the complete story of your emotional and spiritual growth. Let Me reveal to you areas in your life which can be pruned. Allow Me to cut away nonproductive aspects within yourself. In the end, growth will be developed and good fruit will be produced.
 
John 15:5 (AMP) "I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing." Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

A bowl with a little rice and a hot dog. This is all some of these children had to eat on the day this photo was taken. Too many children on too many nights around the world go to bed hungry. You may say, "But I can't feed all the hungry children in the world." Wise people have these words of counsel, "Just help the one God puts in front of you." 

These children live at a garbage dumpsite in a large city in the Philippines. They scavenge through trash for food and clothing and even toothbrushes. They need protection from predators. They also need food, education and they need to know Jesus loves them. We have a pastor on site there who can see that they get all those things. Would you ask God about helping little ones like this?

Some of our Partners, Sponsors and Friends regularly send money to help provide food. We are thankful for that. All through the last school year, we sent more money to the Philippines for food than we received designated for that purpose. This current school year we have had to reduce what we send for feeding the children. It was a very hard decision because we knew what it meant. It means there is not enough money to buy food for them every day. Our prayer has been that God would provide for them, whether through us or in other ways. Our God is a big God. Working together we can meet this need.
