August 10, 2015. You choose well to receive and follow wise instruction. It is easy to turn away from both the correction and instruction of the Lord. His path is narrow and it leads to blessings. But you must prefer the will of the Lord over your will. Learn now to submit to and obey God's voice. He intends good to be multiplied to you and not curses. Yield to the center of the pathway God gives. Do not drift aside to the left or right. You will find great reward in obedience. Do it.

August 10, 2015. From time to time you go through things that cause you suffering. I know that. I also went through suffering. There is a fellowship between you and I in the midst of suffering that is precious. The way to getting through those times is to entrust yourself to the One who judges righteously, just as I did. When I suffered I trusted My Father to minister to Me. Do as I did and you will see how He will bolster you, minister to you and show you His great love.

August 10, 2015. In reading My word over the years, you have skipped over certain areas of begetting because you didn't fully comprehend the gravity of its importance. Though this part of Scripture seems somewhat insignificant, whose you are it is very important. Abraham begat Isaac; Isaac begat Jacob; Jacob begat..., and the list goes all the way to Jesus Christ, which leads to you. Without Me, creation would not exist. Embrace begetting and you'll understand My ways. You were created or begotten for this day and age. My begetting includes you and more.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Almost any one of us would jump at the chance to give a bowl of nutritious soup to a child like the one pictured here. One of our pastors wrote last week and asked if it is ok to use money we send him for feeding the children who live at the garbage site (like this child) because they are so hungry. So here they come, bringing bowls, discarded ice cream cartons and other containers they dig out of someone's garbage. They come and those containers are filled with life-saving food.

The money you send to help feed hungry children purchases food that is important to their survival. You may not be able to personally go to the Philippines and give food to a hungry child, but when you send gifts to feed the children, your gifts buy the food that is given to them. When a bowl of food is given to a child like this, it helps the child, but it is as if you were giving it to Jesus Himself (See Matthew 25:34-40).
