Vincent, one of our sponsored children, is 11 years old. He dreams of becoming a seaman, but also is considering that he might want to be a policeman. He often helps his mother by watching his younger siblings while she works at the beach as a laundry worker. His family is very poor and without the help of a sponsor, he would not be able to go to school. He is in his second year of being sponsored and it has changed his life -- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. 

Sometimes it is not easy to see the future in a young child, but this boy has great potential. He is part of the new generation of young people God is raising up to change the Philippines. There are many like Vincent just waiting for their opportunity.
