Your generosity amazes me. You are feeding and educating more than 800 poor and many homeless children. Heaven rejoices, as do we, that you love and care.

June 18, 2014. Fathers, encourage your children. I fashioned each of them while in the womb and placed them in your care. They need your good words as their lives are shaped. Those words influence your children forever. Comfort them in their need. Inspire them with vision and a charge to keep. Charge them to remain faithful even as Jesus was faithful to His Father. Your children and their offspring are gifts from Heaven. You have much to celebrate in your children. Let them know of your joy and pleasure in them.

June 18, 2015. Grace is what you need. You know it's free and also know it's not cheap because of the price I paid. Now you feel so badly. You knew the moment it came out of your mouth it was the wrong thing to say. But you can't get it back. I know you are going through a frustrating time and are seeking Me. The answers you need have not yet been fully disclosed. Don't give up seeking. Now more than ever your mind needs to be grounded in heavenly places.

 

Ephesians 2:5-7 (ESV) "even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by grace you have been saved-  and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus." June 18, 2015. You feel as though you're going around in circle after circle. A sensation of being detached and alone has you in somewhat of a tailspin. Whatever it takes, I encourage you to find a way to be connected in a closer way with Me. Though you have been grafted in to Me, do something, anything that is proactive instead of reactive. Don't lose hope just because things aren't going the way you planned. Make every effort to intertwine yourself with strong believers who are full of faith. Stay fully attached.

 

John 15:5 (AMP) "I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing."  Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Looking at these beautiful children, it may be hard to believe they live at a garbage dumpsite. We are always amazed to see how nice they look when they live in such filth. One of the ladies who ministers there told us they love to clean up and look nice especially for special events like Vacation Bible School. It really is amazing because none of these children have running water in their homes. To bathe and wash their beautiful black hair, they go to the beach or to a community well or use a faucet at Kid's Freedom Center. Teaching healthful habits and hygiene is an important part of preparing them for success. 

Even though you don't know it by looking at them, the children in this photo actually do live at the garbage dump in very poor conditions. Being sponsored means they do not have to repeat the cycle of poverty. Instead they look forward to a future of God's favor and blessings.

Thank you Partners, Sponsors and Friends for making VBS a great success for the children who live at the garbage dump. Without you they might never hear about a God of love or about Jesus who died so they could live. Someday you might see some beautiful brown skinned, brown-eyed people who will say, "Thank you for giving. I am a life that was changed."
