Your generosity amazes me. Readers of "What the Lord Is Saying Today," are in a position to make many things happen in our FCM ministry through your donations. You are feeding and educating more than 800 poor and many homeless children. Heaven rejoices, as do we, that you love and care.

June 17, 2015. You are God's delight. He always has you in His mind and on His heart. Knowing this, rejoice greatly in Him and in what He has done for you. There is something special about you in His eyes. When He looks at you, He smiles with love and joy. Tonight He will be singing over you as you sleep. When you awake, He longs for fellowship with you until you fall asleep at night. Every day is another chance to commit your whole life to Him and trust Him totally.

June 17, 2015. Something in your life is getting to be a big problem.  You're at a loss, not knowing what to do about it. You've prayed about it, tried several things and it isn't getting better. In fact, it's getting worse. It's causing frustration even at the thought. Do this now. Wipe your slate clean by recording what's happening. Have you done all I have told you? Often by doing this the answer comes. If it doesn't, wait before me I will give you wisdom. Now do what comes to mind. Don't be double minded

 

James 1:5-8 (NKJV) "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways." Bev Robinson

 


June 17, 2015. It is okay to be a good receiver. The word giving can be synonymous with your name. Without a moment of hesitation you find it very easy to give of yourself, your resources and your time. You are constantly looking for ways you can serve the body of Christ and are recognized for doing it well. When it comes to being a good receiver, you often struggle greatly in receiving the same way you give. Let Me bless you in the same way you bless others. Rest and receive likewise.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Looking at these beautiful little girls, it may be hard to believe they live at a garbage dumpsite. We are always amazed to see how nice they look when they live in such filth. One of the ladies who ministers there told us they love to clean up and look nice especially for special events. It really is amazing because none of them have running water in their homes. To bathe they go to the beach or to a community well or faucet. 

These girls who actually live at the garbage dump in very poor conditions seem to be saying, "See what we made in Vacation Bible School!" 

Vacation Bible School at the garbage dumpsite is a fun time filled with songs, games, Bible stories and crafts. The theme this year was how to be strong during struggles and hard times. We heard from many of the children and youth who said the teaching was a big help for them. The youth were teachers and helpers. It was a wonderful success.

Thank you Partners, Sponsors and Friends for making VBS a great success for the children who live at the garbage dump. Without you they might never hear about a God of love or about Jesus who died so they could live. Someday you might see some beautiful brown skinned, brown-eyed people who will say, "Thank you for giving. I am a life that was changed."
