Hello Readers, Partners, Sponsors, Friends and Family,


We at FCM know that some of our sponsored children are going to bed hungry. Others are anxious about their next little meal. For several months we paid out more for feeding the children than we received  for that purpose. We used up our reserves and have now had to cut back on the amount sent to our pastors for feeding the children. It hurts to think of them being hungry.


Of the nearly 900 sponsored children we had last school year, some graduated, others moved away or dropped out for other reasons. In the past we have replaced them with new children who needed to be sponsored. But this year we could not do it. This has resulted in a reduction in the number of sponsored children to just over 800. All this breaks our hearts because so many children are praying and hoping to be included.


Some who have faithfully supported the children have had to cut back. Because of lost jobs or other income sources they could not continue the support. As we prayed and wept, this passage illuminated itself to us: "But Jesus called for them, saying, "Permit the children to come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." Luke 18:16 (NASB)


We (Ras and Bev and Kathy) heard God say to cut our salaries by half effective May 1. It has meant some adjustments for us. However we see this as an investment in the lives of the children and pastors God has given us.  


Would you pray and consider joining us in making an investment in the lives of the children? You are our partners. Consider this as you make your decision: Luke 5:7 (AMP) "They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and take hold with them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink."

 
We are calling out for help to bring in the large catch. It is time. God is moving in the Philippines. You can be part of what He is doing.

June 4, 2015. Have you ever been amazed at what God has done for you? Perhaps you are a professional or expert in some area of life. With the professional and expert fisherman Peter, Jesus demonstrated a supernatural fishing skill. Accepting and adopting this skill enabled Peter and his fishing team to make a jaw-dropping catch of fish that began to sink their boats. He and his companions were filled with amazement. This so astounded Peter that he fell at the feet of Jesus confessing that he was a sinful man.

 

Luke 5:8-9 (NASB) "But when Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Jesus' feet, saying, "Go away from me Lord, for I am a sinful man!" "For amazement had seized him and all his companions because of the catch of fish which they had taken." Ras Robinson

June 4, 2015. I have told you some things that, until you believe them, will remain as possibilities. They are there in the foyer of your house waiting. It remains to be seen if you will let them come on into the house. Yes, these things are good. In fact they are wonderful. But they will remain in the foyer unless you believe and receive them as your own. They will establish my plans which will transform many lives for years to come. But I say to you again, you have to believe them.

June 4, 2015. The enemy of your soul would have you downcast and under persecution and trials. I encourage you to keep moving. Do not allow circumstances to dictate what you do or say. I know you will encounter difficulty and resistance concerning the good news you are sharing just as I did. Those with doubting and unbelieving mindsets will be constant wherever you go and in whatever you do. Pursue peace at all times. Press on with the call I have placed within you. My joyfulness is yours to have and hold.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

It is a special treat on Saturday morning when the children at the garbage dump are given boiled eggs for breakfast. This particular Saturday there was an abundance and everyone could have 2 eggs if they wanted them. Of course, they all did and they were very happy.

A BIG THANK YOU to all you Partners, Sponsors and Friends who make it possible to feed hundreds of hungry children. 

Do you sponsor children in other lands? A sponsor makes a life changing impact on the life of a child and often on the family of that child. Only $30 a month per child will provide everything needed for school as well as assistance with food and nutrition and pastoral care and discipleship. The nation of the Philippines is being transformed. God is raising up a new generation of young Christians who will be used by Him in the months and years ahead. I encourage you to sponsor a child or help feed hungry children. Your life will be enriched and a child's life will be changed.
