May 7, 2015. Gather up the pieces. You have enjoyed many blessings in your life. But now it seems you are living on leftovers, so nothing is wasted. But the Lord is telling you to pick up these pieces that are left. He is telling you to be obedient and not throw away the pieces of your life that are left over from the good old days of yesterday. Do what seems unnatural to you and save what is left. Put all you have into the opportunities He has provided. Fear not, believe only.

 

John 6:12-13 (NLT) "After everyone was full, Jesus told his disciples, "Now gather the leftovers, so that nothing is wasted. So they picked up the pieces and filled twelve baskets with scraps left by the people who had eaten from the five barley loaves."  Ras Robinson

May 7, 2015. Your needs have often been overlooked. You're not being neglected. But you sometimes feel inadequate in expressing needs. When you do, you often feel misunderstood or someone tries to fix the problem. You don't want someone fixing you or the problem. You just want someone to listen. Beloved, I am the best listener you will ever find. I don't overreact or under react. Tell Me. Then you can listen to Me. I will tell you if there is anything you need to do. Tell me, then leave it with Me and let Me fix you or the problem.

May 7, 2015. Your mind is an amazing creation. Within it are immeasurable depths of knowledge, understanding and awareness. You have My mind and all the capacities pertaining to it. With My guidance you are able to comprehend indescribable secrets hidden from the wise. Fix your gaze completely onto My face and seek me wholeheartedly. Focus your attention on Me and not on chasing rabbits down a bunny trail. It is easy to become distracted and place your devotion anywhere but on Me. Concentrate on making Me your single-minded goal. Give undivided dedication to My ways.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Pastor Robert tells us his favorite thing to do is feed hungry children at the garbage dump. How did he start doing that? One day, he took a load of trash to the dump and was overwhelmed and touched by the condition of the children there. He went home and told his wife, Sarah, "We have to take some food to them." They did not have money to buy anything so they took what they had in their house. After that, they began to go regularly to feed them, such that he was quickly recognized when his blue van pulled up to the dump.

Robert and Sarah soon realized the children needed to go to school. He built a pre-school and a church at the dump. I personally saw him intervene when a group of street children were being treated badly. Through food, education, sharing the Gospel and giving lots of love, many hundreds of lives have been touched with the love of Jesus through this couple. Many sponsors have partnered with FCM and Pastor Robert to change lives by giving to make education and food possible for the children. You may not actually be there in person to give a cup of orange juice to a little girl, but when you give you help make that juice possible for her. Thank you for all you have done.

What a blessing to be part of God's plan for transforming their lives. Thank you to all of you Partners, Sponsors and Friends who have made good things possible for very poor children. Their lives have been changed because of you.
