May 4, 2015. Never give up. You are sorely discouraged. God has revealed why. You have not been able to function well. Circumstances have resulted in your being prevented from some important duties. This is a difficult pill to swallow. Giving up has become an attractive option. But to do so would be akin to placing a tight tourniquet on the life blood. You would risk significant failure. The Lord says, "Don't give up or give in to circumstances beyond your control. Submit, get back in the game and win the race." Follow Me closely.

May 4, 2015. Something causes you to feel uncared for. Don't fall into the pit of self-pity. That is a hard pit to crawl out of. List the things in your life that are going well. Right now they are hard to think of but nevertheless do it. You will then see as you have not seen before. Your focus has become myopic. Focus on the good and the good to come, not the unjust before you. Keep your mind from thinking what is not and concentrate on what is and what will come.

May 4, 2015. People long to be understood even as you do. Instead of demoralizing individuals for their inability to comprehend an issue or assuming they know what to do next in sequence, try putting yourself in their shoes. How would you like to be treated? Do you appreciate kindness and patience when you're in a difficult situation? Be known as one who demonstrates gentleness when things become challenging. Exhibit love, My love. You already know what to do; you just need to do it. Live a lifestyle of righteousness toward others.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Vacation Bible School this week at one of the garbage dumps in the Philippines where we sponsor many children. It is very hot and there is no AC in this tent with a dirt floor, but the children are very happy to be here. What a blessing to be part of God's plan for transforming their lives. There are still many many children waiting and praying for someone to help them.

The children in the Philippines are bright and talented, yet many of them are too poor to go to school. In most developing nations, as is the case in the Philippines, the poor are not educated. Thus, they repeat the cycle of poverty. Even the children will tell you, "education breaks the cycle of poverty." They know it is their only hope, but they also know it is impossible unless someone helps with the cost.

Only $30 a month per child will provide everything they need for school as well as assistance with food and nutrition. If God puts it on your heart to help children like these, let us know. Go to Sponsor A Child.
