Elmer and Edcel, two little boys in the Philippines, are in desperate need of help. Sponsoring them could open the hearts of an entire family to receive Jesus. See below.

April 25, 2015. You will discover in deep and meaningful ways what it takes for leaders to live an exciting and productive life. Paul instructed Titus how to choose, disciple and appoint elders in new churches. His core instruction to them is also solid for today's believers. Concentrate on keeping your heart pure. Your pure heart will open your eyes to see the purity in others. Purity is the standard for you and for others God sends. Imagine a new church full of members who have pure hearts who can impart to their members.

Titus 1:15-16 (NLT) "Everything is pure to those whose hearts are pure. But nothing is pure to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, because their minds and consciences are corrupted. Such people claim they know God, but they deny him by the way they live. They are detestable and disobedient, worthless for doing anything good." Ras Robinson

April 25, 2015. Your enemy Satan eagerly looks for a crack in your armor. You are on guard during the day so he has turned to the night. Unload all that is in your mind and refill it with My word, thankfulness, and praise, then watch him scurry away. Until the day you meet Me face to face, he will be trying to find an entrance to wreak havoc. But I have set a shield about you. No need to worry. Keep on trusting Me with praise and thanksgiving. I have you covered.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Bev Robinson

April 25, 2015. Can you make the decision within yourself to join with others in their time of need? There is tremendous power which comes forth when two or more people agree on a certain issue in My name. When you agree with others, an inner strength rises up within all parties involved. When humility enters the equation My grace is sufficient to cover anything that arises. This isn't a "name it, claim it" mindset, it is knowing I am present and I bring My perfect peace with Me.

Matthew 18:19-20 (NASB) "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst." Kevin Robinson

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

This is Elmer. He is 10 years old but has not yet been to school. His older brother Edcel, age 11 doesn't go to school either. They have always been poor, earning a meager living by picking up shells on the beach and selling them and maybe catching a few small fish occasionally. Their mother left them for another man and their father has tuberculosis.

The big earthquake in late 2013 changed the landscape. Now there is no beach and no shells. A life that was already hard got even worse. This family does not go to church and does not know the Lord. If the boys are sponsored, it opens a door for the Gospel to be shared. Many times this open door results in the salvation of entire families.

The only way Elmer and Edcel can go to school and have any possibility of overcoming the severe poverty is if they are sponsored. That one thing will change their lives forever. If God puts it on your heart to help these two little boys, let us know. Send an email to kathyb@fullnessnetwork.net

Two other pastors wrote me earlier this week about children who cannot go to school because they are so poor. Two little ones about 6 and 8 are among them. They have no parents and live with an elderly grandmother who has so little and cannot provide even enough food for them. The 8 year old had to stop going to school last year because they could not pay the requirements or even buy paper and pencils. The 6 year old has not been to school and won't be able to go without help. The pastor said they are always hungry because they don't have any food in their house.

We could add 100 more children immediately if we had the funds for sponsoring them. If you have thought about sponsoring children, now is the time. The cost to make such a big difference is only $1 a day ($30 a month) per child.  Preparations are now being made for a new school year that begin the first week of June. We need sponsors and funds now for the children.
