These children are raising their hands in greeting and to say "thank you" for the food you make possible. This food is more important to them than most of us could understand.
Without it, many of them would miss too many meals. Thank you Partners, Sponsors and Friends who give generously so the children can have nutritious food to eat.
Here are some notes from some of the children:
From Biana: Thank you sponsor for the foods every day at Kids Freedom Center. I am no longer hungry and sleepy in the school and I have good grades.
From Giekylyn: Thank you my sponsor. I cannot forget your help to us because we were abandoned by our mother and we live with our aunt who is a garbage collector. Every day my sister and I eat foods at the Kids Freedom Center.
From Beberly: Dear sponsor, thank you very much for the foods every day at Kids Freedom Center. I am no longer hungry in the school and I don't have fever any more. God bless you and to your family.
From Irish: My parents is a garbage collectors but there are many scavengers so they don't collect much in the city. We cannot eat 3 times a day, but thank God the foods you served at Kids Freedom Center is a great help for us. I will promise that I will do my best in school. God bless you.
God has blessed the vision of helping the poorest of the poor children in the Philippines to get an education, which also requires good nutrition so they can be healthy and alert in school.
