March 4, 2015. Always remember the days of darkness you experienced. You never want to go back, do you? God has made of you a child of light. Wherever you go, look for those who are still in darkness (hungry, needy, sick and truly impoverished) and shine your light upon them. Feed, clothe, mend and bless them to break the poverty cycle. Their lives will never be the same. Forever they will remember the moment their light came through you. Be an aggressive and active carrier of the light. No more darkness and shadows. Let there be light.

March 4, 2015. Putting off delving into something you know how to do is costing you. You know it's something you must do. At some point you are going to have to work through what is an unknown. You won't be able to do it by yourself. I know it is hard for you to ask others for help, but that will have to be done. That is, if you are going walk this through to victory. Some whom you think are the least important are ones you need the most. Learn.

 

1 Corinthians 12:20-22 (NKJV) "But now indeed there are many members, yet one body. And the eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you"; nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary." Bev Robinson

 


March 4, 2015. Keep Me at the forefront. In all you do, be about knowing Me and making Me known. Let each day find you proclaiming what you have received from Me that is fresh and current. Do people see My life and love in and through you? In a manner of speaking, what you have is contagious and infectious. What you have received has affected you critically. Be spreading Me in everything you do and say. Instead of quarantining yourself, disperse My love freely. What you have is communicable and transmissible.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

This beautiful little girl with a winning smile and personality goes by the name of Kit Kat. She is smart and energetic. I was in her church in a small town in the Philippines last month and she won my heart. Kit Kat is 13 years old but not in school. Like so many children of poverty, she only finished 6th grade (elementary school). She could not continue to 7th grade because her family is very poor and there is hardly enough money for their daily food. Education is not even considered possible.


 

Kit Kat needs a sponsor. She wants to go to school and will be a good student. Being sponsored will give her the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty in her family.

 

If you have ever considered sponsoring children, now is a good time. This school year ends in March in the Philippines so the pastors are now looking ahead to next year. Pray about it. You, your church or your business can be used to change the lives of children like Kit Kat.

 

You can make an eternal impact on the life of a child or teen by sponsoring them and making education a reality. The cost is only $1 a day per child to change a life.
