God's New Awakening

February 19, 2015. Surely your offspring listen carefully to what you have to say. You know wisdom would warn all of us that to ignore a parent's instruction is unwise. Therefore, do not give up until you are satisfied that you have found a way to penetrate the heart of your child. Some adjustments and even re-assignments may need to be made. But suffer your pride and produce the results that only I can accomplish. Something great is about to happen. If you keep your calm and a steady hand, you will succeed. You heart must be right and it is.

February 19, 2015. Be on guard. Don't allow or put things in your mind that are not for your benefit or My glory. The wrong things in there will later come back to cause you grief. The good things you are thinking and storing up will later come to the surface for blessing upon blessing. Do all you can to keep yourself in peace. Unload whatever causes you to worry over on Me to handle before you go to sleep. Then think on the good that has happened during the day.

February 19, 2015. Listen very closely. Attune your ear to hear with exact clarity what I am saying to you the Church. Grow accustomed to hearing with precision My still small voice above all the commotion and clutter around you. It is much like a parent can filter out the cries of other infants to hear the cry of their own baby above any others and rush to the baby's aid. Acclimate yourself to pay close attention to My voice. Train yourself to recognize My voice. You've grown accustomed to so much noise that it's hard to hear. Attend to My cry.

God's New Awakening

What is required to turn your life around to experience the goodness of God and the power of the Holy Spirit? Holy Spirit wants to empower you, lead you and make your life explode to experience God's new awakening.

 

A new awakening is beginning in a big way. Let God quicken you to experience the joy and power of the Holy Spirit as He magnifies and exalts Jesus as Lord of your life. If Jesus became truly Lord over your life, what difference would it make?

 

I brought this message on January 18 to Lake Country Church in Fort Worth. The pastor reports that his church has not been the same since this message of "God's New Awakening" was delivered that historic day. The church is full and the pastor is considering beginning a second service on Sunday mornings.

Ministry to Children in the Philippines

Every Saturday afternoon many children gather near the pier in Tagbilaran City, Philippines. They come and receive food and hear about Jesus. Last Saturday we gave each one a new toothbrush and small tube of toothpaste. We are grateful to the American dentist who provided them. It was very special to the children.

This note is from Susan McCarson, one of our team members from the US:  "Today we visited the children near the pier. FCM has several scholars (sponsored children and youth) living there. It was a steep and rocky path that led to the homes -- especially for this middle aged woman! All of the cooking is done outside in large pots. There is very little running water or electricity. The pastors have a feeding program for the children. Without this, many of the children go without food. Thank you sponsors for making a difference in the lives of these beautiful children."

The children who gather are very poor and most do not attend school. Though they are old enough and smart enough, their parents do not have money to pay the required fees so they are not allowed to attend. You can make a big impact on their lives by helping with a donation to buy the food and/or by sponsoring one or more of them to get an education.
