"Education breaks the cycle of poverty." The children and their parents need to be reminded of it often. The children so they can push through difficult times. The parents because sometimes they think it would be better for the family if a child works and helps bring income into the family.
The goal is to cooperate with God in raising the poor from the dust and the needy from the ashes" (Psalm 113:7). That verse goes on to say these who are raised up will sit in palaces. The children are poor but many are smart and talented. Given a chance they will rise to the top and God will use them to transform nations and to break the cycle of poverty that holds families in bondage. The children and youth need education, nutrition and discipleship in Christian living. They can succeed but only if given a chance.
You can help change the life of a child through sponsoring their education or helping to feed them. They need our help. Would you consider sponsoring a child's education or sending a donation each month to help feed the children? Help them break the cycle of poverty in which they live and become world changers.
