Who would think that 2 loaves of bread would be the favorite Christmas gift for a little boy - more than toys or clothes. See below.
December 26, 2014. A choice is on its way. You knew it would come sooner or later but it will come much sooner than you think. Yes, there will be a smidgen of doubt. With you there is almost always a smidgen of doubt. That is your physical and mental make-up. Doubt is okay because you don't let it overrule your faith. You turn your doubt into healthy caution which is a good quality to have when you are listening intently for Me. It will help keep you from making many mistakes.

You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don't try to get out of anything prematurely. December 26, 2014. Finish strong without whimpering or complaining. The goal is very close. You can almost reach out and touch it. These truths are an invitation to your eternal enemy the devil to steal, kill and destroy. This calls for unfamiliar, powerful and courageous acts on your part. Be committed to not looking back, instead keeping your eyes on the high prize of success in your God-given assignment. The Lord will not fail you nor will He forsake you until all the work is done. With your deep commitment to excellence, make a shining and sparkling finish.

What was the most favorite gift this little boy received for Christmas? You might think it was a toy or even a new t-shirt. But you can see by the look on his face that his prize was the two loaves of bread he received. He was so happy to have that bread to take to his home. Thank you for your generous gifts to provide Christmas for the sponsored children and their families. They did receive toys, clothing and food because of your generous giving. Thank you for making lots of smiles possible.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
