Children who play and sleep at the cemetery get excited to receive a little cup of food, which opens a door to share the Gospel with them. See below.
December 23, 2014. Almost everything is done. The big part is behind you. Now is time to slow down and even find some times of rest. Enjoy what you have done. I know you know I am behind it all. What you have done is not a work of the flesh. Yes, it has been hard I know that. But many things you do that are led by Me are not easy. Yes they are usually simple, but not usually easy. Grace does not mean without work. I give you the grace to work well.
James 1:22 (AMP) "But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth]." Bev Robinson

December 23, 2014. Yesterday was the 35th wedding anniversary of my daughter, Robin, and her husband, Jonas. They spent the day moving their youngest daughter into her new place in our city. Then they are taking all their immediate family out to dinner to share their anniversary evening meal together. As parents they have something right it seems. In our family, we still celebrate the birthday of each family with a meal, affirmations and cards. Glory to God. Let's all make it a priority to make our fathers happy with us and our mothers proud of us!
Proverbs 23:22-25 (MSG) "Listen with respect to the father who raised you, and when your mother grows old, don't neglect her. Buy truth-don't sell it for love or money; buy wisdom, buy education, buy insight. Parents rejoice when their children turn out well; wise children become proud parents. So make your father happy! Make your mother proud!" Ras Robinson

Photo of the Day

One of our FCM pastors in the Philippines is sending children's ministers to the cemetery. Some children, like the one in the photo, who have no homes play and sleep there, somehow feeling it is a safe place. They feed the children, sing songs and tell Bible stories. Thank you for the donations you send for ministry to the children. Without your help, it would not be possible to provide the children with the food. They listen to the stories of Jesus love for them because of the food they receive. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Your help is needed to support the core of the ministry Partners and Friends -- Stand with us with a gift for sustaining the overall ministry of FCM. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ministry to Children in Philippines Become A Child's Sponsor - $30 a month per child Give to Food for Learning -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot. Disaster Relief Fund -- Provides help for emergency needs resulting from floods, earthquakes, fires, etc.
If you prefer to send a check instead of giving online, make the check to "FCM," and send it to Fullness in Christ Ministries, PO Box 136117, Fort Worth, TX 76136. Attach a note letting us know your desire and that is how your gift will be used. You will be blessed. NOTE: Please send checks or money orders in US dollars only -- no foreign currency please. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy. |
