Once a super-typhoon, Hagupit weakened before passing through the Philippines earlier this month, but was still a damaging storm. See below.

December 20, 2014. Something will be said that you know to be true. When you hear it your spirit will be in agreement, but the more you consider and pray about the whole thing, doubt will come that the resulting action is not the right response. Immerse yourself in prayer and I will show you what's right. I give you wisdom and timing. Be prepared to say what you hear from Me but also be prepared, knowing that others are also hearing the right thing and no action by you is required. Be at peace.

December 20, 2014. Do you need your eyes opened? Are there things around you and perhaps right before you that you cannot see? Could it be that your spiritual eyes need opening? Recently, I watched and listened to a renowned pastor/teacher and apostle open verses and passages of Scripture that profoundly impressed me. In my heart I questioned why I had not already received revelation on the same verses and passages. It humbled me that perhaps I have been lax and lazy in my studies and prayers when I am seeking revelation.

 

Matthew 20:31-34 (NASB) "... And Jesus stopped and called them, and said, "What do you want Me to do for you?" They *said to Him, "Lord, we want our eyes to be opened." Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes; and immediately they regained their sight and followed Him." Ras Robinson

After the storm, Typhoon Hagupit, passed through the Philippines earlier this month, this is what was left of a home in Calbayog City, where one of our sponsored children lives. We are thankful the storm diminished in power from what was expected, but still there was damage to homes and property. Calbayog City, where 30 of our sponsored children live, was in the path of the storm and expected to receive a lot more damage than they did. Several homes were destroyed and damaged, but we are so thankful to report that everyone is ok. Now they are trying to put their lives back in order. The electricity in the city was finally restored this week which helps.

The donations you give to the "Disaster Relief Fund" make it possible to help families who experience loss as a result of events such as this. Thank you for your generosity to help.
