It is a great day when the sponsored children are recognized for good character. See below.
December 16, 2014. The body is so complicated and intricate there is no way you can understand how it works. What you need to know to make it work well is found in My Word. Love, joy and peace are the foremost things you need to work at finding. This is part of what working out your own salvation means. I know there are things that cause you not to have love, joy and peace, but be thankful for what you do have and, Beloved, you will be amazed at the results.
Isaiah 30:18 (AMP) "And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]!" December 16, 2014. Sitting in heavenly places is your destiny. The earth is not your home. You are a person chosen to be one who sits with Me on the throne someday. You are a marked person with a very, very bright future. You would be wise to seek the Lord day and night as a drowning man would gasp for air. In doing so, you will discover the very personal path God has for the rest of your life. He will reveal it step by step as you draw closer to Him.

We are proud of the accomplishments of our children who are sponsored. Cherry and Angel, shown with their pastor and mentor , received special recognition. Cherry was recognized and "Most Polite" and "Most Obedient." Angel was recognized as "Most Courteous."
What a joy it is to see the change in the children as they grow physically, mentally and spiritually. Thank you, Partners, Sponsors and Friends, for your vital part in bringing transformation to children and families, communities and eventually to the nation of the Philippines.
As a sponsor, you probably will never meet in person the child or children you sponsor, or their family members. We pray God will, in some way, show you just how important your support is for the children. It is also vital to the plan of God for the future of the Philippines. The change you make possible has eternal rewards. Thank you for giving to transform the lives of these children who were once hungry, dirty and without hope. You have made it possible for them to be recognized for good character and to have dreams for the future.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
