You can listen to the message preached by Ras and Bev last Sunday "The Miracle of Intentional Kindness." See below.

December 9, 2014. Disappointment is knocking at your door trying to come in. You aren't sure exactly what happened or what went awry but head off frustration immediately. Don't entertain thoughts of why it happened and certainly don't let disappointment rule your day. You were headed in the right direction, but something happened. I know you don't know the dynamics of what happened, but trust Me. Know that I'm in the driver's seat and have the best interest of all parties involved. I will work things out. You work at being at peace.

Colossians 3:14-15 (NASB) "Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.  Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful." Bev Robinson

December 9, 2014. Suffering is not something you anticipated, but now you know that the very calling you have from the Lord will demand it. You have seen others suffer because of their call to serve the Lord. Preachers have preached about it. You have seen many documented reports of suffering. But now you sense that in order for you to complete your work on this earth, you must encounter and endure much suffering. Initially, yours will be a great stretching inside your heart and soul. You will not turn back and you will win the prize for the fight.

Acts 9:15-16 (NASB) "But the Lord said to him, "Go, for he is a chosen instrument of Mine, to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the sons of Israel; for I will show him how much he must suffer for My name's sake." Ras Robinson

Ministry to Children

Thank you for praying for our sponsored children in the Philippines as the typhoon swept through. The storm lost a lot of its power and was not as destructive as predicted. We have 30 sponsored children in one of the areas hit. They are all fine and an evaluation is being made on damage to their homes. We will report on it in the next few days. We know some roofs need to be replaced. If God puts it on your heart to help, you can go to Disaster Relief.

Children from the garbage dump site come, bringing their bowls, plates and cups (most of which have been found in the trash). They are hungry and hope to have the containers filled with some good food. The food they receive is provided by Partners, Sponsors and Friends. We know some of you give sacrificially so these children can be fed. Thank you for the love you show. God bless you.

Why do we call it "Food for Learning"?  Children who are malnourished and hungry do not do well when they go to school. Many times, they are not even strong enough to attend classes. The food is fortified with all the vitamins a young child needs to be healthy and alert. The nutrition is vital if they are to go to school and do well. If they are ever to have a chance to escape the poverty, they must get an education. Thus "Food for Learning" is how we refer to the feeding of the children.

Thank you especially to Partners, Sponsors and Friends for giving to transform the lives of these children who were once without hope, but now have dreams for the future.

You can help make sure these children have food for their bowls. Go to Food for Learning.
