The children and their parents gave a warm welcome to Kathy when she visited them at the garbage dump site. Some of them wrote notes that blessed us. We are sharing them below, hoping you too are blessed.

From Aracely - Dear Sponsor and Ate Kathy, We are praying for you when you left, and God answered our prayers, because few days later there was a storm named Glenda and the winds was very strong. Our trees fell down and also the bananas were blown down from the trees. Then it was followed by storm Quennie which was much stronger. But thank God, we are alive and safe. In school, I am so happy for our group in volleyball. We won!!!

 

From Princess - Dear Sponsor and Ate Kathy, Thanks be to our Lord He helped me in school, I am one in the top ten in class!! About my health I am okay, but sometimes I have cough and runny nose. Continue to pray for my father he has goiter. I also thank the Lord because the storm Quennie did not destroy our house and we have food to eat. Thank you Lord for the one who is used to help fix our house because the earthquake destroyed it last year!!! God is good.

 

From Kathlyn - Dear Ate Kathy and Sponsor, I am happy because I pass the periodical tests at school. I thought our house would fall down during the storm Quennie. The storm woke all of us up at dawn and many were texting us including our Pastor to see if we are okay. She was praying and could not sleep thinking of us. At this time I am encourage to take the Maniquene Modeling. It has prizes and please pray I will win!. Thank you

From Jonalyn - Dear Ate Kathy and my Sponsor,  Merry Christmas! Because it is always raining it affects my body, I got runny nose and cough but I am healed now. We are thankful to the Lord that we were safe during the last storm. Our house is still standing. If you want to know about my school, I passed in all my subjects!!! Thank you for supporting me.

Before I sometimes failed because I could not pay for the requirements or I was sometimes late in passing my requirements because my parents have money enough only for rice and noodles. Our volleyball group won last athletic meet!! Thank you Lord!
