When asked "what do you want for Christmas" most of the sponsored children answer "food." We plan to see that they, along with their families, have some good food and gifts for Christmas. Thank you for your help. 

 

November 21, 2014. Change is happening all around you. Not just change of seasons but many other changes are before you. All of this is causing you to feel untethered. Gather yourself together and tell Me all about it. I know how you feel. I experienced much change while on earth. I told My Father all that I was going through even though He already knew it all. It helped me to persevere. I have not left you alone, just as My Father did not leave Me alone. Tell Me and then trust Me.

November 21, 2014. Can you become a new vessel? "Your thinking is not My thinking. You have been broken in an area of your life, but I am not through with you. I will take away the broken pieces of your life.Then I will start all over with you from the inside out. I will make you into a better, stronger and far more attractive vessel than you can imagine. You will be so pleased with what I do that you will spend the rest of your life testifying of what I have done.

 

Jeremiah 18:4 (NASB) "But the vessel that he was making of clay was spoiled in the hand of the potter; so he remade it into another vessel, as it pleased the potter to make." Ras Robinson

Jonas and some of the children at Victory Village, a community supported by a local church here in the Philippines. Several widows live here with their children. With the help of Partners, Sponsors and Friends, we have been able to sponsor some of the children and help provide food for their cooking pots. When we visited Victory Village this week, all the children wanted to play with Jonas. He played with them just like he does his own grandchildren. There is a lot of potential in this village to help more children with education, food and growing in their love for Jesus.

 

We want to be sure these children and hundreds more like them have something special for Christmas. Many of you have sent donations already and we are so thankful. For most of the children, the gift you provide will be the only one they receive. If you intend to help with Christmas, remember that we need your gifts before Thanksgiving so we can get the money to the pastors the first week of December.

 

You can put smiles on many faces with your gifts to bless the children, especially at Christmas.  Go to Christmas for Children.

Become A Child's Sponsor - $30 a month per child      

Give to Food for Learning  -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot. 

Ministry to Children -- For special needs -- Any amount helps. 
Disaster Relief Fund -- Provides help for emergency needs resulting from floods, earthquakes, fires, etc.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
