November 20, 2014. The crest of the hill is in sight. The hard part is over. Stop and rest but don't stay too long. This is just a juncture. Keep your eyes on the goal. You will reach your destination, but right now you need a respite. You will gain energy and at the same time have insight for the road ahead. Just as I have done in the past, I will give you direction as you go. Haven't I given you light to get where you are now? You will not fail.

November 20, 2014. This new season in which you find yourself is essential for your good and even for your survival. It is a time to re-dig old wells and to plow up barren soil and fields. Break up new ground for the coming need for a good harvest will soon be upon you. Without proper and thorough preparation you will be found lacking. I say unto you, "Humble yourself under the mighty hand of the Lord. Repent for much of your life and lifestyle. Keep the good and multiply it. Cut off and dispose of the bad. Keep your head up."

 I was with these sponsored children and youth last Sunday in the Philippines. The white-haired one in the back is me. The pastor and his wife are on the far left. The children are so thankful to the Partners, Sponsors and Friends who help them with education, food and growing strong in the Lord. God is raising them up to be leaders of the future. 

 

We want to be sure these children and hundreds more like them have something special for Christmas. Many of you have sent donations already and we are so thankful. For most of the children, the gift you provide will be the only one they receive. If you intend to help with Christmas, remember that we need your gifts before Thanksgiving so we can get the money to the pastors the first week of December.

 

You can put smiles on many faces with your gifts to bless the children, especially at Christmas.  Go to Christmas for Children.

Become A Child's Sponsor - $30 a month per child      

Give to Food for Learning  -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot. 

Ministry to Children -- For special needs -- Any amount helps. 
Disaster Relief Fund -- Provides help for emergency needs resulting from floods, earthquakes, fires, etc.

Kathy Bohlin is Executive Vice President of FCM & Director of our missions in the Philippines. She works closely with local pastors who care for almost 900 FCM sponsored children in 24 locations on 4 islands. In the Philippines the children affectionately call her Ate (Ah tay) Kathy.
