Christmas for so many poor children in the Philippines is more than most of us can do alone, but if everyone gives a little then we can make a lot of children very happy. See below.

 

November 3, 2014. Events did not go the way you thought they would. You heard from Me and you were at peace, but then a surprise came. Don't let this throw you off course. There almost always is an attack. Keep going the way I showed you. Resist defeat. Don't let this get you down. Keep your faith high. What I told you was the way it is so you can count on it. Keep believing Me. Don't lose your peace. I told you I would handle this and I will. I will repair the breach.

November 3, 2014. Your greatest treasure on the earth is your family. I gave it to you because I have faith in you to grow a healthy and spiritually happy garden. Your spouse and each child should know exactly what you believe about Me. They must know the Scriptures to be life and help for living a life pleasing to Me. You will know you have succeeded when the family knows and loves Me and My word as much as you do. Accept nothing less. Your offspring is your witness of the Lord Jesus Christ. Fear not and believe only.

 

Deuteronomy 11:20-21 (AMP)"And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates, that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens are above the earth."  Ras Robinson 

 

Ministry to Children 


 Update about Homes for Widows and Orphans


 Kathy will be going to the Philippines next week to meet with a lawyer and social worker regarding the mandate from God to care for widows and orphans. She will also meet with some of the pastors who are currently caring for widows and orphans and are standing on ready to do more. They will hear the Lord together about the next steps to take. She will also be doing some preparation for the conference next February when a group of 5 of us will be going.

 

Thank you for your prayers for Kathy as she travels. Pray also for those who will meet with her. Pray that they clearly hear the plan of God for this undertaking. Thank you also for your financial support.  These children live under a bridge in the Philippines where we sponsor about 50 children and youth. Virgilio Durante and his wife are our pastors there. They were ministering to the children before we came along, but with the help of FCM Partners, Sponsors and Friends, the ministry has touched many more very needy children with sponsorship, which includes education, connection with a church family and food. Some of the children who are in high school today never dreamed they would even be able to finish elementary school. For some they are the first in the family to go to high school. Now some of them even dream of going to college. What a change -- from hopelessness to excitement about the future.

 

The families under the bridge are very poor. Too often Christmas is just another day of not having enough to eat and no gifts to share. It is a great opportunity to provide food and gifts and share the Gospel of Jesus, the Reason for the Season.

Give to Food for Learning  -- Help feed hungry children in the Philippines. Any amount helps a lot.

Disaster Relief Fund -- Provides help for emergency needs resulting from floods, earthquakes, fires, etc.
